  For the price go to Hampton inn in Elyria instead newer hotel. The hotel had a strong smell of marijuana so we walked out.

  First the rooms are EXTREMELY dated! The refrigerators were either so old they yellowed or were an almond color with an older style microwave matching the color same way. The lamp shade there were also so old and brittle that they were cracked and as we pulled up we could see the curtains were tore in another room. The headboard was an old wood one that had too has passed its prime along with the carpet. The tall mirror in the room was so cheap you could see the staples that held it together and reminded me of the old mirrors that were in my parents summer mobile. As for being clean that’s a toss up. The mirror I just mentioned had a sticker that clearly was not cleaned off, we had the jacuzzi room 106, I am not sure if they are just not taught how to properly clean these tubs or don’t care but when looking over the jets I found someone else’s hair!! And dirty jets!! Maybe they need to clean them and also leave product for the person using them something to clean them but the floor was also cracked and water was coming out of it!!! This is not ok and it’s a health hazard. The wood around the serving area was also warped with a dark area, use plastic, it doesn’t rot and it doesn’t mold as easy. The basic maintenance just is not kept up to keep people safe and healthy. Positive As for the rest of the room being clean, from what little I looked/seen, the bed seemed clean most things seemed wiped done and did not really see dust, house keeping left you an envelope for a tip! The girl at the front did not seem happy by the hair I found in the tub or the fact the bottom is broken, could have been an act but she apologized and did not think twice about giving us out money back, she knew we were not happy and not to push! She was a very smart person! She keeps the front area very tidy.

  Stock pictures, especially the outside. This place is dull and dank. The hallway has an odor that's trying to be covered up by "air freshener". There was pieces of paper to keep the the dresser balanced, the curtains are dry rotted with holes, my roommate could feel springs in her bed. I wouldn't stay there again. It's too dank and smelly in the hallway. It needs new carpet and updating. The website pictures show a bright, pleasant place to be when actuality it's grayish and dank.

  Hallway smelled like weed and cigarette smoke. Didn't get any sleep loud party in the hall and rooms near us until 3am. Kids banging on our door running in the halls. Sweet girl at the desk did try but didnt work. Door to the building was not properly secured. Worse hotel experience I have ever had!!

  My wife and I called about a room for January 2nd over the phone and mentioned we were seniors and we were told what the senior rate would be, so we booked the room. The next morning we received the bill underneath the door and it had the full price for the room and did not include the senior discount. I went to the front desk an informed the girl who had originally taken my reservation over the phone the day before and she said she would take care of it. It was not, in fact, taken care of nor was the price properly adjusted for the senior discount and we were ultimately charged the full price of the room. We do not appreciate this at all! This is NOT how you run a business nor is it how you take care of your guests! It's also a way to get a 1 star rating and never have your guests return to this hotel in the future again!
