  Alex, at the front desk will lie straight to your face. Told me they were 100% sold out of rooms. Yeah yeah…. I hear the same story 300+ days a year because I travel for work. When you arrive at a hotel at 9 AM after driving all night and there are zero cars in the parking lot and they say they were sold out and there are no rooms available. I do not believe them. I guess every company especially IHG Properties teach their employees to say this. All it takes is a called a corporate and you will get your room. They gave me the handicap room after they told me they were sold out 100%. I bet this room hasn’t been used in a month. Also, there’s no trash cans in here so if they want they’re trash or peoples trash to go in the trashcan they should probably put a trashcan in each room. The room smells horrible. The AC doesn’t work, but I’m only here for a few hours, so I’ll deal with it because I don’t have time for the runaround.

  I had a wonderful stay at this Holiday Inn. While there was a minor problem with the first room I stayed in, the lovely staff moved me to another room and gave me a free breakfast. I particularly want to thank Sam who works on reception and gave me some local tips re places to go to and also Alan who served me breakfast and was incredibly friendly.

  First time I stayed here - the rooms were a bit dated but serviceable and comfortable. The bathroom was really small. The staff was friendly and attentive. A plus for having plenty of outlets near the bed for charging a plethora of devices. Located downtown convenient to all downtown Columbus has to offer. I would stay here again.

  I stayed here for five nights during the Arnold event and had a very positive experience overall. The room was comfortable, modern, and kept very clean throughout my stay. All of the staff members I interacted with were friendly, helpful, and professional. It was an easy and inexpensive Uber ride to the convention center, usually between 7 and 12 dollars. The daily breakfast offered a nice variety and tasted good. I also enjoyed Burger Theory on-site, which had tasty food and a solid selection of beers. This hotel is definitely worth the money, and I would gladly recommend it to others.

  I’m leaving a 5 star review just for Allan, the server at the breakfast buffet. The room itself is a little sub par, and the breakfast is just a standard breakfast buffet at a hotel - but Allan himself makes it worth coming back to this hotel. Not only was I greeted with kindness and patience, but as I sat and drank my coffee this morning, I watched and listened to him just care for and love on each guest who came and got breakfast (he carries in his attitude such a kind unassuming view of others). If I could hire him, I would. Thanks for bringing light to the day Allan, and IHG for such a good experience bringing someone like him to the team!
