This hotel is really beautiful. However, I hate that humans have turned hotels upside down. I used to love staying at hotels, but now people make everywhere a ghetto experience thanks to cigarettes and marijuana filling the air from the parking lots to the elevators, hallways, and rooms. I don't know if guests smoked inside but the smell was so thick you'd assume they were smoking in the rooms. Thankfully, I was accommodated to be moved. I'm very allergic to smoke and yes, smoke is a real allergen.
The rooms are cold unless you're moving around. The temperature supposedly goes to 78 degrees. That's where I had it set, but my room didn't go over 72 degrees and the fan kept blowing cold air. I turned the unit off several times because there was no option to run heat without the fan, but it would come back on automatically anyway. Not certain if that's normal or not, but we just bundled up because I didn't want to complain again to the staff about another room.
Hotels don't invest in smart TVs or Roku devices apparently, so don't book here if you don't watch basic cable. Otherwise, don't forget to bring your own Firestick/Roku. I was very annoyed by this.
I had no issues with the staff, cleanliness, accommodation due to my room smelling like smoke, or anything outside of what's listed above. The front desk workers were all very nice, patient, and well mannered women. I encountered 3 and the 1st had the patience of a saint. A guest was really giving her a time and she handled things very elegantly. She was also patient with me regarding my hiccup at check in that has nothing to do with the hotel.
For those who like the quieter areas like myself, I would request the 4th floor and to be on the end if you can.
The pool area is very nice, but if you can't take a lot of noise, you need noise cancelling, airplane style ear buds with you. The room catches and elevates every single peep made. They really need to expand the pool area because it's too small and hollow in my opinion. Even my daughter didn't want to swim long because the noise was overwhelming. That's not to say anything bad about the kids having a good time. All of the excitement is totally expected. I'm only speaking of the area.
The pool room would really be overwhelming for you if you're there at a time where the pool is full of guests and you're not used to loud environments. I was very happy when my child was ready to go because I was getting a headache in there.
I would visit again and request to be on the 4th floor out of the way. Now, if the air regulation is the same in another room as the one I was in, I wouldn't stay again because I don't like being cold at all. I would leave out simply rethink staying there now that I'm thinking about it again. There's no way to tell until you've already swiped your card. The bathroom was freezing, the room was cold. I didn't like that. I don't plan to ever sleep in my robe and coat in a hotel because I can't get warm again.

You get all of the amenities, the clean room, a comfortable room, but truly what stood out to me in the three weeks that I was here was how management treated staff. I saw all of the staff, especially the housekeeping staff keep it relatively jovial approach and attitudes. While this may not mean much to some, remember if the staff is treated with respect, just imagine how you will be treated. A huge shout out to Lai who puts together wonderful breakfast spreads during the week and gets your day going with her authentic approach towards all that she does.

I really like the breakfast options they give to guest like waffles, pork and turkey patties, fruits, strudel, orange & mixed berry juice, ☕️, decaf, and dark roasted coffee. Or boiled eggs and egg omelets. So come and stay here when you get a chance
