This hotel has a serious management issue. Everything is below expectations. The only positive item is the check in process was smooth and polite. The breakfast lady was totally absent, tables dirty, breakfast far below standards, front door broken and cold air was coming in, coffee machine not calibrated and coffee was pouring over the cup, heating and cooling unit in room was making a horrible noise and had to turn it off.......and few other items. Fix the management, get rid of some of your employees and charge more, otherwise you will be hosting undesired elements.

I had 2 rooms booked at the hotel as a stop on our way to my uncle's funeral. My husband and I drove and my sister arrived from the airport at 1am. When she arrived there were no employees in the parking lot or in the front lobby. There's a sign at the entrance stating doors are locked and a room key is needed to enter after 8pm, but it was not locked when she arrived. The next morning we found our new truck's window broken out and truck rummaged along with 7 other cars in the parking lot. The manager on duty said this is an ongoing problem and they have a security guard for the parking lot that "ran off the thieves" around 2am. Obviously the security guard wasn't in the lot when the crimes started as they wouldn't have hit 8 cars before being "run off." Then the manager said that the thieves had multiple "crews" that all struck at once. That is more reason security should've seen them coming. It's obvious this is a big problem as we noticed upon arrival they have shop vacs, extension cords, plastic and tape ready at the entrance to the hotel. The manager was not sympathetic or helpful. We noticed just 2 cameras in the parking lot and we asked the manager about them but she stated she didn't know how to access the footage. Why have a security guard specifically for the parking lot if he's not going to patrol the parking lot? We also learned from another hotel guest that was part of work crew staying there for a nearby job, that cars were also broken into the prior week. To make matters worse, we had to drive another 2 hours to the funeral during a snow storm with plastic in the window that blew off in the first 10 minutes.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I flew in for my uncle's funeral and met my family, who were driving to the funeral, in Columbus. We stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn Express Columbus Airport - Easton before our two hour drive the following morning. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was decent. However, in the morning, we got word that several trucks were broken into overnight. Unfortunately, by brother-in-law's brand new truck was one of them. The back door window was broken out, but nothing was stolen. Employees and manager had only an apology to offer, and it certainly didn't feel genuine. Come to find out that this happens regularly. There are shop vacs plugged in and ready to go with extension cords attached next to the entrance, plastic and tape are available and waiting for these frequent occurrences. They had one security guard working that morning, but I arrived to the hotel at 1am the night before and I literally saw no one, inside or outside. Not even a person at the front desk. Needless to say, the two hour drive we had that morning, in the snow, was not the most pleasant. This hotel, and the city of Columbus, needs to get its act together. I'm not sure why they don't fix a problem that they are very well aware of.

I will absolutely never stay here again. Somebody ate the food in my room while I was gone. I am a woman, and I travel alone for business all the time. This has never happened to me before, and it was extremely disturbing. How did they get into my room? Were they still in there? I didn't sleep at all. There were also several other things wrong with this hotel - the other reviews are accurate.

The lady that works night shift is by far the worst customer service front desk, my reservation was Monday the 15th to Fri 19th and I arrived on Tuesday the 16th due to business delays, I was totally ok with paying for Monday the 15th I just wanted to check in my room and get some rest but she refused to check me in even though I paid for the whole week. She was NO help at all, she said can’t refund my money or give me a room. My past experiences at Holiday Inn was always great but this night front desk treated me inhumanly. Nightmare experience
