Hotel itself in a little disrepair but on point for the price, room was pretty good. Issue I have is their complete incompetence as a business. They have "security" at night in the parking lot in their van and he constantly drives 30+ through the parking lot wiping through lanes, almost hit someone once. Front desk didnt care. Fell asleep in his van sometime around 4am, someone showed up and broke into 10 vehicles including mine. Female at front desk was rude when I approached her, wouldn't talk to me until manager arrived. Manager showed up late for work, basically told me sucks to be me. The blatant disregard for their customers and complete lack of empathy, I'll never return to Columbus for work or otherswise.

My biggest issue is the out dated rooms. Not even a microwave. Bed is at best a 5/10. If youre charging premium prices outside of premium areas, you need to have the amenities to match. The goofy van with the swirling lights mascarading as security in the parking lot doesn't cut it.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 consecutive years and each year there is a notable decrease in level of general maintenance and hospitality
Breakfast was awful, numerous items missing from buffet, two employees arguing in the kitchen, and one employee slamming dirty dishes on a tray. Could not find a clean table ….
One out of two elevators did not work
Tub did not drain when taking a shower
security door between two rooms was broken
Only one ice machine on the 8th floor and one microwave in the lobby
The beds were comfortable and the employees did a nice job cleaning the room.

What an awful experience. Room key server was down, was told for 5 days "They are working on it, it will be ready tomorrow" each day. The fire alarm went off at 9pm one night and was told it was a false alarm with no other clarification. The ceiling of my room leaked after a thunderstorm and it was clear that instead of fixing the roof the maintenance crew merely patched the ceiling and has done so several times by the difference in color. The room was rarely cleaned and I had to ask for new towels several times during my 2 week stay. The elevators went down multiple times during my stay and finally there was only one working ice machine in the entire hotel.
Do not stay here.

I regret to say that this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
First the good: Matt who checked us in at night was very supportive and helpful.
I like the ambience and decor. It has 1970s 80s decor and the vibe of an old Soviet Hotel.
*Now the bad:
The parking lot is scary and dark. It is enormous, and there are almost no lights there.
Two of our Family members got stuck in the elevator on the eighth floor about breakfast time. I told the front desk that it was a crisis, and that we needed help. They said that they called someone, but they continue to check people out, as if nothing had happened.
15 minutes passed. There were repeated comments about calling an elevator mechanic, who did not seem to be on the Property. No one seemed to know what to do.
After 15 minutes, I had to call the fire department. They came promptly, and just before they arrived the elevator got unstuck. My Family members spent 25 minutes there and were in a state of panic before it was over. The hotel did not seem to have any plan to help people in this kind of situation, although the elevators are very old.
We were promised in the end that the points we used to pay for the room would be returned, but they were not.
There are some great people who work at this hotel, but the infrastructure is not in good condition. The room coffee pot also did not work, and the key to the door didn’t work after 11 A.M., although we were promised late check out. The staff couldn’t seem to get the key to work again, and a janitor had to come up and unlock the door with a tool to get us back in the room.
I’m sorry to report all this because there are some genuinely kind people that work at this hotel. However, the infraestructural all needs to be updated and taking care of and this is not their fault.
