My son had his wedding here. It was the most beautiful, fairy tale event. The venue is gorgeous - one huge, beautiful space for the ceremony, one space for the cocktail hour, and one space (huge ballroom) for the reception. The wedding coordinator was easy to work with.
We chose this hotel because it was close to the clinic (I was a patient) but we should have gone elsewhere. The front desk people were very rude when we checked in or needed help, since it meant leaving their 'device' in the back room. The shuttle was not working. The room had no heat, in January. They did bring us a portable heater on night #2, but acted as if they were doing us a favor. We were over charged for parking, stayed 2 nights were charged for 3. Their reply? "Oh well, that's our policy". Were over charged in the restaurant, they doubled the tip and added 2 bar drinks and tax on the drinks. We don't drink! None of these extra charges were removed. Why? The front desk gentleman said, "I don't know how to do that, and by the way, the first tip goes to the hotel the extra tip goes to the server". What? They say they offer breakfast? Restaurant wasn't open, and, when I asked was told, "well the staff didn't want to come in today". I know its a small thing, but, where were the 'Doubletree Cookies'?! It's sad to say this, but, stay elsewhere.

Still here,I came to Cleveland clinic for an kidney transplant and it's December where you expect the heat to be working, it is freezing in here, they brought up some space heater that after 10 min running blew up the breakers and they moved us to even more colder room. They need to figure out this because I am not planning on getting sick in this cold ,at least give my money back for this freezer, crazy you expect to be nice according to price and location but actually is terrible environment.
Some of the stuff members are nice ,some are terrible.
On their website says the restaurant works from 4pm but actually is 6pm, and always out of food.
Before Christmas the house keeping left us note that they will be coming to clean ,nope nobody even bothered to check, and when I called the front desk they didn't even wanted to come up and give us towels, we had to get them on our own.
Plus I had to clean my own room and bathroom since they just wiped the mirrors.
Only one Spanish girl from the house keeping is great, Madeline she was nice and clean great like her own house.
I am very disappointed.
We are staying here almost a whole month because of the doctor appointments, and can't wait to leave. In 24 hours they made us move twice, well this is first and last time staying here.
Don't let the pictures of the website or costumer service trick you.
It's not worth it.

My son and I stayed here while he was at Cleveland Clinic for a second opinion regarding a heart transplant. This was an emotionally heavy time for our family, and unfortunately, the experience at the hotel added unnecessary stress.
On day one, during check-in, the front desk clerk did not make eye contact and was abrupt, giving the clear impression that my presence was an inconvenience. No warmth, no acknowledgment, no professionalism.
On day two, I approached the front desk to ask for the complimentary cookies advertised by the hotel. Once again, I was met with visible annoyance for interrupting staff who were focused on their computer. Not a single word was spoken to me.
Additionally, access to the hotel was extremely difficult due to surrounding construction, making traffic and arrival stressful — something worth noting for guests traveling for medical reasons.
This hotel markets itself as welcoming, but kindness and basic courtesy were sorely lacking. For parents and families going through some of the hardest moments of their lives, compassion matters. It costs nothing to be kind, and it goes a very long way.
