  This place is absolutely disgusting. The rooms reek, and nothing appears to have been cleaned. It was so grose I dident even want to walk on the carpet in my socks. We booked this hotel specifically so my daughter could swim. At check-in, we were told the hot tub was closed but the pool was open, only to have the pool doors locked by 7:30 p.m. with no explanation whatsoever. When we questioned this, the front desk staff were shockingly rude and dismissive. On top of the filth and terrible service, they nickel-and-dime you for everything: $20 per night for self parking, $18 per person for a mediocre breakfast, and an outrageous $6 for a single cup of lobby coffee. This hotel is a complete waste of money, and I will never stay here again.

  First off, we booked a stay here from Expedia. 109$ which is an amazing deal, as we arrive they tell us they don’t care what the 3rd party vendors give the room for they are charging their rates. We had already paid for the room and had to pay an extra 110$ plus a 50$ deposit. Parking is 20 plus a 30$ deposit. Over all we paid 110$ more than what we booked it for weeks prior. We never received our deposits back. Contacting them they have said there is no record of us giving a deposit. Now to the stay, there pool had algae With algae staining on the windows. The place was not the best and employees rude as can be.

  Very poor check-in experience due to the front desk employee, whose name we believe was Teron (no name badge). He did not respond to our greeting and appeared arrogant and unwelcoming. The room key he gave us did not work because it was not activated, and there was no apology. He also entered incorrect vehicle information for parking. When we returned to the front desk, he was having a personal conversation and ignored us for about 15 minutes. Afterward, he blamed us for the mistake and refused to show the form we had filled out, saying he would “fix it.” This behavior is unacceptable and does not meet basic hospitality standards.

  The staff are not very friendly. The hotel is decent and the lobby is nice. The bed was smaller and definitely not a king size like we booked. Parking is expensive and not included. The staff described breakfast as if it was free and included but there is a charge. The rooms and a little old with loud heating. Location is great and you can walk to downtown. Room service staff also were very loud in the hallway cleaning other rooms as there was constant banging noise. Overall a good stay for the price and close location.

  We arrived around 2:00 AM and immediately ran into issues with parking. The security guard at the booth was of little help, and it took some trial and error to learn that you must park out front and check in at the lobby to have your license plate activated before accessing the parking area. This process is especially inconvenient for guests who check in online and arrive late at night. When we entered the lobby, there were several random teenagers hanging around who did not appear to be hotel guests. At 2:00 AM, this felt odd and uncomfortable, especially since there was no visible security inside. They eventually left after being addressed by the front desk, but it was not a great first impression. The rooms themselves were average and somewhat dated. The beds were comfortable enough, but in typical Hilton Garden Inn fashion, the pillows were extremely soft and offered little support. Standard amenities like a mini-fridge and Keurig were provided, though only decaf coffee was available. Hallways were a bit noisy, and while the elevators were fairly quick, one of the three was out of service during our stay. The lobby market is very limited and overpriced, even for basic drinks. There is a grill and convenience store on the corner, but it felt a bit sketchy and did not offer quality food options. I opted for the breakfast buffet one morning to grab a hot meal before heading to a football game and immediately regretted it. At nearly $25 after tax and tip for one person, the value was terrible. The food consisted of watery scrambled eggs, standard sausage links, and unappetizing potato wedges, along with mini cereal boxes and basic bread for toasting. Dinner options at the bar were just as disappointing. Plan on eating all meals elsewhere. If you’re attending a baseball game, the location is excellent. However, it’s a long walk to football games or anything near the water. This hotel worked for a last-minute stay, but we will definitely be choosing other options next
