Room had a very bad smell of dog. I’m allergic and was up all night coughing and now I’m sick. The evening staff was rude to the kids and the pool area was not clean and was too loud. The breakfast was okay, the sausage and eggs both should have been cooked longer. Very disappointed because I typically always stay at Hilton properties and have never had this experience.

Maybe the area will be fixed up when the construction around is done. We had no problems . The front desk lady wasn't the friendlyist .the indoor pool was kinda strong with the chlorain. And the bed was that comfortable. But not a bad experience..just wouldn't be my first choice.

Very clean but staff weren't friendly which is odd because I encountered quite a few within my visit. The initial guy at check in was helpful but after that downhill. Great hotel overall but the staff, no microwave in the room or closet space did it for me. But there is a pool table and restrooms on main floor that adds to it

The front staff ladies are extremely rude, specifically the one with shorter hair. Both the check in and check out experience with her was my first experience of people from OH and immediately left a bad taste in my mouth. Our room was clean, only thing I’m not sure about was that there was nonstop noise on the floor on top of us throughout the entire night, I couldn’t really sleep at all. It was stomping, things being dropped, etc. I’m not sure if that was another customer or what but the location was a good location, hotel looks very new, modern. Experience would’ve been 10x better with a friendly staff, they are the face to the business. It should be friendly staff not someone dismissive or rude for no given reason, seems like she hates her job.

We stayed here last night, and after more than 10 years of frequent travel to and from Florida, this was the worst hotel experience we have had. We booked this hotel because it advertised itself as pet friendly. In over a decade of staying at chain hotels, we have never paid more than $25 for a pet. We were shocked to learn at check in that the fee was $75. We had already booked online and driven 13 hours to get there, so we were exhausted and felt stuck. This fee felt like a cash grab. At over $100 Canadian, the value was not there. We will not stay at any Tru property again. The front desk experience made things worse. The staff member did not greet or welcome us and came across as rude. It felt like we were interrupting her while she was on her Facebook. Breakfast was also disappointing. The options were the usual unhealthy items like donuts, sausage, and sugary juice. After so many years of travel, it is frustrating to see hotels still offering such poor food choices. NEVER AGAIN
