    I rarely leave reviews for hotels. But I can't say enough great things about this location. ALL of the staff here was amazing. Everyone was friendly, warm, attentive, and welcoming. The room was spotless and very spacious.The bed was comfortable as well. I would HIGHLY recommend a stay here.

    Had to cancel a booking. Winter storm cancelled reason for trip. I was one day passed the free cancel date. Booking requested hotel to waive the fee but hotel refused. I called hotel directly 4 times and manager never took my call. I understand rules. Outside of the date, but take the call when a customer has questions. You lost 6 bookings a year from us. I'll go elsewhere but you obviously don't care... EDIT to reply... Booking.com had a request page to ask if the fee could be waived. The page required a reason for the request. I stated it was do to weather and travel plans were cancelled. Request was denied. Booking told me to request again, Stated because of weather, they were to also call on my behalf. Request denied. Once again, my issue isn't that it was denied. I wanted an answer as to what company makes the decision as Hilton said it was up to Booking and Booking said it was up to Hilton. Either way, YOUR location manager never bothered to return the call. So, don't pretend you care and value anything. The fee isn't the issue. We stayed at your location before and I left a great review. Was a nice trip. We planned to use your location when visiting our sons at UC. You lost my business. Simple phone call would have been nice and the fact that you lied in the response makes it easier to go elsewhere. I am happy to post screen grab of the initial request stating weather related but I am not that petty. So, either your reply is a lie or no one actually reads the request. Either way its bad customer service. Own it. Learn from it. Again, truly doubt anyone cares.

    The staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly the front desk who fixed my reservation i had messed up. The hotel seemed new and the room was clean and comfortable. The heating was quiet which is nice for a budget hotel not to have a tractor repeatedly starting up in the night. Breakfast was good within the expected scope they had made a real effort to offer a variety of better things instead of just those tasteless rubber eggs we get. They also had a nice range of well chosen snacks in the freezer to heat up in the room Thanks to everyone for making us welcome.

    Internet cuts out every 10 minutes for 5 minutes. not usable at all for anything work or entertainment related. Called the front desk, was told "that happens when it's cold". Okay... Also the beds are about the same softness as that stone altar from Lion Witch and the Wardrobe.

    The beds and pillows were super comfy. My 13 yo wanted to sleep on the couch (not folded out) and she said that was comfy too. Nice breakfast selections each morning, and all interactions with staff were kind and helpful. It's so nice when traveling with our kids to have the dishes/fridge/microwave and dishwasher as we'll often Uber eats in instead of dining in a restaurant. Location was pretty central to everything we did-topgolf, zoo, aquarium, museum; maybe a 15 minute drive to each. And of course the pool is fun. If they could up their coffee game and add a hot tub, couldn't all for anything more lol
