My experience was absolutely terrible. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, yet the lobby and elevators are filthy. The pool is closed, and the staff is unprofessional. To make matters worse, they refused a late check-out.

My friends and I stayed here on Friday night.. I wish I got the front desk guys name because he was an absolute gem! He was so kind and gave us waters. He was such a positive, uplifting and smiling face to see when we got there and as we were leaving since he had come back in to work again.

If I could give zero stars I would, the problem is that they would get a great review, but when we were charged we were charged another night. I am a nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and we were snowed in 1/24. I stayed here 1/23-1/25 so I could make sure I could safely get to work. I knew we were going to get charged a whole day even though I checked out early. I went to give my hotel card keys from room 531 to the man at the counter on 1/25 around 7:30pm. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do before I go since I was leaving. He said no you are good. Now we are getting charged another day. They stated that they have devices on their doors to tell when the door is opened and said they knocked on the room and someone was in there. They said they called the room instead of our cell phones which is also very odd since we were not in there. The manager today on 1/28 wouldn’t check cameras to see when I checked out. We have videos on the ring camera when I got home and we wanted to show them when I arrived and I was playing in the yard with my kids in the snow in the morning when supposedly someone was in the room. I imagine their employees take advantage of patrons. DO NOT! Stay here if you want to get ripped off for an extra day. The hotel will soon figure out how we plan on handling. Joe is the manager an is very unhelpful and rude. Hope the Hilton seriously looks into this issue. I know I will tell our director to take this hotel off the recommendation for staff.

Staff is super friendly and helpful... Makes you feel welcomed. Place was under renovation during my stay. My room was already renovated and bed was comfortable. Breakfast and coffee was available daily. Plenty of parking in top lot, as well as garage parking. Restaurant available in walking distance. Very close, about 4min drive to UC Health hospital. Vending and Laundry facility ($1.50/load per wash & per dry, so $3 total). However no laundry products or bags available for sale, must bring your own. This could change after the reno is complete though.

I booked this stay through Priceline, and in hindsight, calling ahead might have been helpful. A significant portion of the first floor is currently under construction, and it’s important to know that when you walk in, you are essentially entering a construction zone.
That said, guest services were genuinely helpful and professional throughout our stay. We were on the fifth floor, which was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
I did notice an area on the ceiling of our room that appeared unfinished or poorly painted — I’m not certain whether it’s related to the construction, but it stood out. While this is purely cosmetic, it does contribute to the overall impression.
In its current condition, I would say this property falls closer to a two to two-and-a-half star experience rather than the three-star designation it carries. The hotel clearly has potential, but it needs a fair amount of TLC before it fully meets that standard.
With the renovations completed, this could be a solid option — but for now, I’d recommend managing expectations.
