My husband, my 9 years old boy and I arrived at March 30th, 2026 around 3.30 PM. Check in process was smooth at the beginning but then the nightmare has began. The front desk lady asked if we want to get the first floor or second and I said 1st would be better then she gave me the key with my room number on it. My 9 years old ran to the room to find the room wasn't even a room but storage!!! ( first 3 pictures) I walked back to the lady and told her what happened, but not even sorry that I got but ..." Well, the system showed that the room is available so I gave it to you! " and I said, maybe the housekeeper wasn't even giving you an update? And then my husband said, maybe they forgot. So I went back and took some pictures and showed it to her. She said... " I know!! I know! The room is dirty! " I said, its not about dirty, but that room is storage room!! She said ...No, its dirty I know! I was like.. wow OK. Just get me another room. She said, " Now you have to go to the second floor! " I have no other choice so I said OK. I told her, make sure the room is really clean right now. So she went upstairs to check. She finally back downstairs and gave is the key and said the room is ready. When we get inside, I found out that refrigerator is damage. ( 3rd and 4th pictures) and actually scratched some skin on my hand when I was on that area. Don't get it wrong, the fridge is still cold. But the damages at their door made it dangerous especially if they have some little kids. I let it go since I only stayed for 2 nights and have no small kid. Then, my 9 years old asked if the hotel has any playground area for the kids since the pool still closed. Rudely, she answered, playground is at the back. Go out, and make a right. On the back there, that's where the playground is. My boy was so excited and ran just to find an empty road with some construction stuff on it. No playground, nothing. And then I went back and asked, she said. No. Only that place. I asked again if there is a playground for the kids around the area, doesn't have to be at the hotel. She didn't even look at me in my eye, her eyes was focusing on her laptop and rudely just brushed me off, sounded like she didn't want to answer me. Oit of curiosity, I walked behind her since she was sitting on the lobby area behind the coffee table to look what was so important that made her acted like that, turned out, she was on FB!!! My son was so disappointed. No sorry, nothing, just no and no and no. She was sooo rude! I think this would be my first and last for me to stay at Bestern West. I told my friend that helped me booked the hotel, she told me that she booked me BW Plus and plus is always more than the regular BW. She was mad! The hallway is dirty too, and the most inconvenient, the ice machine is only on the first floor! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. Pls fix your management. This experience is crazy for us! No more Best Western!!!!
