Ragedy chair; stained floor; broken TV; flickering bathroom light; half broken shower handle and nozzle. Bed seemed clean and heat/ac worked.
I don't want to see management commenting on posts apologizing for experience...just spend the money to make renovations and maintain upkeep. Hold employees accountable if customer service isnt up to standards. Take some pride in business ownership.

This stay was definitely the worse hilton stay I've ever had. The night audit guy was not friendly at all...he didnt even acknowledge us. He didnt acknowledge my status. Not even a hi or a bye. Pointed to waters on the corner of the front desk for me to choose from AFTER I asked him for the waters. The guy didnt even look at me the entire time during check in. Very horrible service. This hotel need a good cleaning. The room smells like mildew. The staff in the kitchen was amazing. And the am front desk people were great. I wouldn't stay at this location again.

I'm sorry, but this is probably the most unacceptable hotel I have been to in New York. First off, when we got in the hotel for the very first time, My family had to be "greeted" by this miserable looking, unwilling to even talk to or LOOK at us, kinda guy...
He looked so tired. Im so serious, he didnt even want to make eye contact with ANY of us. How sad.
Anyways, the room smelled like old people, which is, well obviously for some people, not a great impression. It didnt matter to me though. But do you want to know what really stunk? THE SHOWER! That shower smelt awful!
Oh...and one more thing..when I got coffee, it was COLD. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

I used this hotel for my wedding weekend and so many things were not ok ! Communication prior was amazing. I had my whole bridal party Stay there as well as my parents and we booked to have dinner at 4:30 and meet and greet at six at the bar and Grill downstairs. Prior to arriving I had corresponded with one of the managers who asked me if I had VIP guest I said yes, my bridal party and parents But upon check-in, one of my husband's groomsmen, and my mother needed to wait an hour after check in time to get into their room. My cousin was told that the dinner was now at five, and when I asked the front desk person, he blankly stared at me and had no clue. After almost an hour of my mom waiting to check in I called the front desk only to be left on hold for half an hour- they finally got into their room and we went to dinner. Dinner and drinks were great. The meet and greet was great - Even though the poor gentleman downstairs had no idea that it was a bridal party all coming together . the following day after the wedding I was told by two separate managers that my room would have a special surprise as the honeymoon suite with champagne and I am pretty sure strawberries and chocolate nothing was left in the room and when I asked the front desk, they said that's weird because it's usually in contract but they would notify a manager. I had to go downstairs and ask because again when I tried to call I was left on hold this time for 45 minutes. The rooms are outdated the rugs dingy - 3or 4 People from my party complained that they were remote controls that didn't work for the TV. Upon departure, I spoke to a manager who told me that the strawberry and champagne was $30 extra which I showed her numerous emails, Where I was promised that, but never told of price . I was just told it was part of the package. They refunded me $30 when I spoke to her about check-in times on hold times and just the overall unhappiness with this day she said they were short staffed and things get hairy at the desk
I was too frustrated to argue back so I left. I've tried to reach out to not one but two managers to discuss my stay and they have all Ignore ignored my comments. Worst customer service ever do not stay here. Do not plan for your bridal party to stay here. It's worth it to pay a little bit more and go to one of the neighboring hotels.
