Hotel is good. Our first room air conditioner wasn’t working and they switched us to another room. However they had no Queen Suites so we had to take regular( nothing offered for inconvenience) but it was fine. Our problem was w breakfast. We are reward members to other chains but like IHG for free hot breakfast. This had no choices. Apple & Orange juice not available, only cranberry. Only turkey sausage. That’s the first time we have ever been where there wasn’t both options either reg & turkey or bacon w the healthy option of the turkey. So instead of the hot breakfast we pick your chain for we had toast. Eng muffins, not even blueberry or other muffins. Liked hotel but might consider other places because of the poor breakfast selection.

The breakfast was lacking compared to other hotel hot breakfasts. It seemed more stingily stocked with the breakfast person trying extra hard to avoid waste, which just caused backups and lines for people waiting on certain items. The sofa in our room was dated and had bleach stains all over it. There was a single blind on the window rather than sheer curtains, opaque curtains and a blind. So you couldn't get light and privacy. The tv what small in did not offer access to streaming services. They did, however, have the HBO channels included with a decently expansive cable lineup. There is a traditional tub/shower with shower curtain even in the king's suite that I was in. Most hotels of this brand that I've gone to have upgraded to a shower only in king rooms. I selected a king because I hate sharing shower curtains with other people. So that part was a big disappointment. It became apparent by the end of our stay, that the pool was in need of service and that they may have over-chlorinated it to compensate. One of my kid's swim suit ended up being too small, so she wore her t-shirt over it. Her shirt is completely bleached. My other child who is neurodivergent and doesn't always remember to close his eyes when putting his head underwater had chemical burn irritation to his eyes. We had to flush with bottled water that the hotel provided. The thing is, in hindsight, there may have been some other chemicals because it didn't smell heavily chlorinated and there was an oily filmy quality to the surface of the pool water. I spent most of my time in the hot tub because of this. Also, the hot tub was only hot one night. The other night, it was barely warm. We luckily felt safe at this hotel, especially given the nicer area. The hotel staff all seemed especially kind. There was a gentleman who appeared to be the manager or owner, who was very kind, and seemed to be overseeing things. His presence and, just, given the totality of our stay, the room, and the breakfast, it seems like the hotel is either under new ownership or new management and trying to get a handle on things with less revenue. I could be wrong, but that was the vibe. At the end of the day, you could tell they cared and this is important to them, and it is that understanding that led me to 4 instead of 3 stars.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I booked this room through Expedia to take my grandkids swimming during the cold season while I visited. I was involved in a car accident last weekend and hurt and sent a request to cancel and refund due to this extenuating circumstance and Expedia approved it but had to get approval from the hotel that request was denied even though I offered to provide the accident report as proof. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and posting this review everywhere possible. Businesses that do not conduct themselves with integrity especially during these difficult times are horrible. Lost my business for good. Shame on you IHG

Little out dated but the main concern was the lack of outdoor lighting, hotel sign for entrance and parking lot. If we went back to the area I would probably choose some place else to stay but the location was great.

The hotel itself was nice. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The morning breakfast was great and the location was very close to almost anything you could want. I’d say it’s a good area. There is plenty of parking and we didn’t have to walk a mile to reach the front door. Staff was friendly. Dislikes: *No vending machines. Yes, they have a tiny little store but my child was disappointed that there wasn’t any vending machines. She likes that part of hotels. *The hot tub was almost too hot. You couldn’t sit in there comfortably for more than just a couple minutes. *There were no towels in the pool area. We didn’t want to use our room towels so we ended up with no towels after the pool. *The bathroom door in our room wouldn’t latch shut so everytime someone tried to shut the bathroom door it just swung back open *No hand soap in the bathroom
