I wanted a room on the first floor, and he accommodated us. The room was very clean and comfortable. I kept saying how happy I felt to have a place to relax while visiting the college. I highly recommend staying here. I plan on coming back and staying here again.

I was at the very end of the hallway on the 1st floor though so that may have helped. There was a little kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric cooktop, and a dishwasher with plenty of dishes. I happened to come on a holiday weekend so the prices everywhere in a 50 mile radius were exorbitant. So I paid I think like 177 a night. Oh, no room service either. And housekeeping doesn't come every day, you have to call the front desk if you need anything and they bring it to you. But the BED and PILLOWS ..oh man. I wanted to stay in the bed forever!

Then I got a call at 11:30 saying they were calling from the front desk to "remind me" that checkout was at 11. First, I have an email from Expedia and from Candlewood Suites IHG saying checkout was 12pm. She said management was aware and will be updating. So I asked how I was supposed to know. She didn't have an answer, was not apologetic and not very nice. Just reminded me again I should be out of the room already and I was late.
