I generally stay in and don't really wander the streets, but it is close to anything you might want. In my last stay they weren't offering breakfast which was a bummer. BUT, the restaurant and bar there are awesome! I had their burger and it was ridiculously great. This place has great history, it is stunningly beautiful in the lobby and had a great gym for a hotel. This is a great place to stay...and they have the Doubltree cookie!

The room was clean. It’s right in the middle of things if you’re going to the auditorium or Nexus center, as it’s like a 2 block walk. However it’s a bit old and banged up. In need of a refresh. Doors don’t close right and in my nephew’s room the door handle broke off. Staff haven’t been good or bad. Decently friendly but just seems like they don’t want to be there. It could be that it’s the middle of a deep freeze during winter.

- TTTrentDec 20, 20255.0We found this hotel when we encounter a sudden change of plans and we needed a place to stay in short notice. I can say that we were not disappointed. There is plenty of free parking and the location of the hotel is right downtown. The lobby is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The cost is higher, but with the short notice and beauty, comfort, and quality of the rooms I cannot argue about it
