I had the privilege of staying at the Lodge over the past summer. The accommodations were amazing. In particular, the bartender (Jason, I believe) was about the coolest bartender that I've come across in my years, coupled with the drinks being perfectly on point. I enjoyed my stay, and I would highly recommend.

The Lodge IS great for lakeside fun, but it's the people that make a place special. Roddy was so helpful to our family. At every turn during our stay there was a person to help us with our bags, the fire pit, and directions to where we wanted to go. We appreciated the extra attention and service.

This is where my husband and I got married over the weekend and the views and ambiance was to die for! All the staff were extremely accommodating and super helpful. Emily helped to coordinate everything from the rehearsal dinner to the farewell brunch the day after the wedding. The chalet we stayed in gave us just the room we needed for everyone to get ready for the wedding. The chef out did himself with all the food! Coming from So.Cal, we wanted Mexican food for the reception and did not disappoint! Highly recommend for any wedding celebration or to just get away from the huddle and huddle of life in general to enjoy the lake views and small town atmosphere.

I had the absolute pleasure of planning Tabitha and Brian's wedding at The Lodge at Schroon Lake, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and team! From the moment I started working with Emily and Dani, I knew we were in great hands.
The Lodge itself is absolutely stunning—I actually stayed there for a few days and the room was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. I also dined at The Brown Swan and the food was absolutely delicious.
As a wedding planner, I work with many venues, and I couldn't ask for a better team to partner with. Emily and Dani are professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making each couple's day special. Their dedication to creating unforgettable experiences is evident in every detail.
If you're looking for a venue for your wedding or event, The Lodge at Schroon Lake is an absolute must-see.
I highly recommend booking your celebration here. You won't be disappointed!

Booked this place in Oct 2023 to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, and not only was the room not up to par (essentially a trailer at the edge of a construction site, lamps didn't work, wifi didn't work, bathroom was small with no toiletries) and service nearly absent (front desk took 10 minutes to check us in, despite there being no one else in the lobby), but then they had the NERVE to try and sneak an additional charge on our card. Credit card company was able to reverse that, thank goodness, but I would never stay here again.
We also attempted to eat at the Brown Swan, but after almost 20 minutes waiting during regular dinner hours and not a server or host in sight (odd enough, because there were a few diners in the dining room) we gave up and went elsewhere and luckily had a very satisyfing experience. Glad we avoided paying NYC prices for cold food as so many others seem to have done.
