Welcome to the Beautiful Brand New Holiday Inn Express and Suites Saugerties, New York,conveniently located on NYS Thruway Exit 20 in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Home of Woodstock '94 which was held in our Backyard.
The Town of Saugerties offers antiques, boutiques, museums and restaurants.Saugerties was featured in the New York Times for its adaptable environment and all that it has to offer. Woodstock is a short drive from the hotel and is home to many local musicians and artists. It is the hometown of the American comedian, actor, television host, and musician Jimmy Fallon.
In the summer enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, water rafting and tubing and ziplining, or just spend the day at the Saugerties Farmers Market. Also, in the summer attend events such as HITS, Horses in the Sun, and the many festivals held at Dutchess County Fairgrounds. In the fall, be sure to visit the Garlic Festival and the beautiful Mum Festival which is held nearby. The Garlic Festival has been featured in the "USA Today" as a top regional food festival in the United States. Also, during this time of year, take a walk over the Hudson River and look at the fall foliage. In the winter, enjoy Snow Tubing, Skiing, and Snowboarding at Hunter, Belleayre, and Windham Ski Resorts. Saugerties also has many beautiful wedding venues nearby.

- MMm m1 day ago5.0I firmly believe there are no coincidences in life. We all end up where we need to be at any given moment. This afternoon/evening proved this to me. A friend was having a birthday celebration on Saturday, and I needed a break from my life. I'm dealing with cancer. Sometimes running into the right place at the right time changes your life. I needed to meet Diane at the front desk. I needed her kindness, and her smile, and her energy. Our room is comfortable. It is clean. It has all of your standard amenities, though I do with there was a snack machine on our floor. There is a little convenience store in the Sunoco across the way. I'm so grateful for this stay. Dianne - you're incredibly wonderful! Thank you for shining a bright light.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with the most amazing fresh, clean scent that instantly sets the tone. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated and feels welcoming right away. The staff? Absolutely top-notch. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind, exactly what you hope for but don’t always get. And the rooms… spotless. Not just “hotel clean,” but truly clean. Comfortable, fresh, and clearly well cared for. This place hits every mark!!! cleanliness, atmosphere, and customer service. If you need a place to stay in Saugerties, this is the one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The view of the historic fields and Catskill mountains at sunset was beautiful. Our room was clean and rather luxuriously comfortable for a mid-level hotel. The staff were pleasant and professional. It was nice grabbing a decent free breakfast before hitting the road. Freshly ground by the cup coffee hit the spot! Very easy access to the highway!

Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Water pressure on shower was especially nice! In the morning we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast before heading back to Hunter to ski one more day.
