Welcome to the Beautiful Brand New Holiday Inn Express and Suites Saugerties, New York,conveniently located on NYS Thruway Exit 20 in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Home of Woodstock '94 which was held in our Backyard.
The Town of Saugerties offers antiques, boutiques, museums and restaurants.Saugerties was featured in the New York Times for its adaptable environment and all that it has to offer. Woodstock is a short drive from the hotel and is home to many local musicians and artists. It is the hometown of the American comedian, actor, television host, and musician Jimmy Fallon.
In the summer enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, water rafting and tubing and ziplining, or just spend the day at the Saugerties Farmers Market. Also, in the summer attend events such as HITS, Horses in the Sun, and the many festivals held at Dutchess County Fairgrounds. In the fall, be sure to visit the Garlic Festival and the beautiful Mum Festival which is held nearby. The Garlic Festival has been featured in the "USA Today" as a top regional food festival in the United States. Also, during this time of year, take a walk over the Hudson River and look at the fall foliage. In the winter, enjoy Snow Tubing, Skiing, and Snowboarding at Hunter, Belleayre, and Windham Ski Resorts. Saugerties also has many beautiful wedding venues nearby.

The location is excellent with easy access, and we loved the beautiful mountain views. The hotel has a modern, fresh décor throughout, and the bed was extremely comfortable for a great night’s sleep.Breakfast was fresh and good, with a nice selection to start the day. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked with Dove products, which was a lovely touch. Overall, a comfortable, relaxing, and high-quality stay — we would absolutely return and highly recommend it.
