  This hotel is so beautiful. We loved all the amenities at the hotel. We had a couples massage in the Spa that was probably the best massage I had ever received. The only thing to mention is the walls in the rooms are very thin and I could hear everything. I’m a light sleeper so that’s huge for me. The room was super small. My husband and I could not even walk through the room at the same time, as well as the bathroom being tiny. The staff were wonderful and helpful. We definitely will be back!

  only had a short stay, but the hotel was very nice (clean!), and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. In a great location, easy to get everywhere, very walkable.

  We held my Dad’s celebration of life in the Ember Room at Hotel Saranac, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The hotel is charming and elegant, and the Ember Room was filled with beautiful natural light from its large windows. The food was excellent, and the staff were attentive and kind throughout the event. Blake, our Sales Manager, was a pleasure to work with—so helpful and easy as he guided me through the arrangements. It was a lovely setting for a meaningful day.

  As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love photographing weddings at Hotel Saranac in the heart of Saranac Lake. The venue perfectly blends timeless elegance with a touch of Adirondack charm, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere that feels uniquely special for couples and their guests. From the moment you step into the historic lobby, you can feel the character of this beautifully restored hotel. Everything from the grand staircase, the rich architectural details, and the warm, inviting glow of the space make it an incredible backdrop for both candid and editorial-style wedding photography. The ballroom is elegant and refined, with large windows and a layout that photographs beautifully throughout the evening — whether during dinner, toasts, or that first dance. Hotel Saranac is also perfectly situated for couples who want to embrace the Adirondack experience while offering their guests the comfort and sophistication of a boutique hotel.   Bartenders at the bar upstairs had no idea what they were doing. Swapped Sazerac for a nice Bhakta 1928, and still charged me the full amount without telling me anything (I overheard them talking and saw her pour it) Miss poured my wife's drink, and talked with each other about how to fix it, she just said "oh add extra gin and they won't know the difference" it was horrible, and then they blamed us for not liking it. And then they tried to charge us for the mispoured drink we sent back!
