  Recently stayed here for the winter carnival 2026. Not a bad hotel, definitely does not look nearly as good as the website pictures. Kudos to their photographer. The place is pretty old but the staff maintains it fairly well and the hotel is clean in general. Our room was clean, well heated and the hot water was excellent. Important things in February! The queen beds were sagging in the middle a little and my back still hurts 2 days later as I write this, the breakfast has a decent assortment but fairly low quality. Eggs (I think they were eggs) and bacon was microwaved. The staff was friendly and responsive. Parking is fairly easy and there are several entrances to get you closer to your room. Large amounts of snow made parking difficult at night as everyone was vying for a spot. Beware there is no elevator so if you're on the second floor you have to carry your bags up. The lighting in the entire hotel is horrible. There is no gym. Not much to do at this hotel besides the pool but it is close to everything so that was nice.

  My biggest issue was with the survey for this, and most hotels!!! I don’t appreciate more than two options for gender!!! There’s two (2), period! MALE FEMALE We had a foul sheet on the pullout bed.

  The room and hotel were in decent shape but it was clear this hotel staff was overwhelmed. If you are going to accommodate hockey teams, make sure you can take care of the other guests or don't offer the rooms. Kids running the halls all night and parents and kids yelling in the halls at 7am. The breakfast area was a disaster and it didn't seem the staff was even able to replenish cereal and milk. Ridiculous for what you are charging for a room.

  I was very disappointed in the room, it was very dated and the heat only works on high so in below zero weather had to shut the heater off to lower the heat of the room and then fire blasting heat if we wanted it. There was a musty smell in the room and items in the room or not talked like tissue and shower gel. The breakfast was not even edible and poorly stocked as well with poor quality food being served for the free buffet.

  Stay away, run down hotel heat not properly working in rooms. The breakfast was a joke. When we arrived at the place, looked closed with hardly any lights on anywhere and was poorly shoveled and plowed.
