  I have been a frequent customer of this Holiday Inn and wow can I say that the service and charisma of the staff is wonderful. Not the mention I had been coming here for an while and recently discovered their restaurant/bar. I had a late night layover and decided to grab a burger and fries from the restaurant. Little did I know that John would make one of the most delicious and juiciest burgers I’ve ever had. After trying his food and speaking with other workers, I realized that he is one chef who does not play when it comes to his kitchen. Not to mention, you cannot have his wings or fries without asking for his special sweet and spicy sauce because the ratio of sweetness to spice is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for food with a slight tang of spiceyness. As for the bartenders, I have never been more satisfied with the personality and recommendations from the two of them, Lindsey and Krissy. I am extremely indecisive when it comes to ordering and they made me feel so welcome and open to suggestions when it came down to ordering. From the moment I even checked in, the lovely young lady, Lindsay, at front desk was so welcoming and informational about everything within this hotel and what they offer. I have to say that this is one Holiday Inn I can never forget and I appreciate the staff for making my experience here truly memorable.

  Rooms are clean. Beds are uncomfortable and hard. So if you have back issues definitely not place to be. Breakfast isn't free you have to pay extra for meal plan if want it. Before I booked I asked for late check out. Having special needs children this is just extremely easier even if I have to pay extra apparently it wasn't approved nor does the hotel seem care. Elevator didn't work last night when tried to use it and I'm physically handicapped on 2nd floor. Pool is not heated it was cold. Definitely will not receive my business anymore and we stay out in Rochester 4 to 6 times a month.

  I recently stayed at this hotel during the week of January 26. During the last 2 years, this hotel did deteriorate quite a bit under the previous management. Under the current (new) management, there have been numerous improvements in room cleanliness and overall service. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very nice young man, who welcomed me to the hotel and acknowledged my Diamond Elite Status, and gave my welcome gift of choice. The room assigned to me was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast that was offered was freshly prepared and the scrambled eggs were the real deal. The gentleman in charge of breakfast (Chris) was welcoming, and he pointed out and explained the breakfast offerings. He keeps the breakfast room neat and clean. The Bar & Grill is very nice with delicious food offerings prepared by John. The new bartender, Chrisy, is very nice and friendly and provides fun atmosphere to the bar, unlike the previous girl who had a serious attitude problem. Even though there are still some minor issues with the hotel but the new manager, Kim, is in the process of fixing things back up again. The main reason I gave a 5/5 score is because of the extremely good experience I had during my stay at this hotel, and I will continue to return every time I have business to do in Rochester.

  Staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and accessible. The front desk , bar and room staff , were all super nice. This locals close to our daughter school, RIT so super convenient as well. There was a snow storm but that didn't change a thing with this hotel. I would recommend and stay again.
