Terrible service at check in, the hotel is under construction and the “manager” at check in was terrible and the GM didn’t give a crap either. I only stayed here because we had to but I would avoid.

This is one of my favorite Rochester hotels - the ambiance is top tier, the staff are always friendly, and the amenities are worth every dollar!

I stayed here in August and was extremely disappointed in both the staff and the room. I had reserved a room with a King bed and walk in shower. When I arrived I was given a room with two queen beds and tub shower. The shower was stained and only had cold water. When I reached out to the front desk they told me there was nothing they could do despite the fact I paid I higher rate for the king room, and also refused to compensate me in anyway like a meal voucher or anything. After 2 days into my 4 day trip they were able to give me a different room which did have a working shower but it did not have any shampoo or conditioner. Overall the hotel felt rundown. None of the phone that were in the two rooms worked and the staff were extremely rude as I tried to get the room I had reserved. They just generally didn't seem to care about their guests. The hotel was also just dirty. Trash and food left outside guests rooms long enough for bugs to be over them. Smells of cigarettes filling the stairwells. I never tried the food here since the breakfast costs 15 dollars and looked less than appealing. If this were not a business trip and I had to pay out of my own pocket I would have been demanding a refund and gone to the Home2Suites across the street. At least there the staff actually appears to care.

My family and I love this hotel we stay every couple of months. One of the reasons we love is because our 2 young girls love the indoor pool. When we arrived 11/10 we were informed that it was closed. The next morning we had some time before departure and it was still closed. The website of course tells and shows an indoor pool but NOTHING on the site informing of a closure. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Not a good value. Extremely over priced. Service at the restaurant was terrible. Issues with the thermostat in our room right off the bat. They fixed it, but why do I have to deal with this at over $200 a night.
