- VBVictoria BighamApr 1, 20265.0Great experience. We spent 5 nights. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. There is a 24 hour coffee/hot chocolate station. Breakfast had many options. I am not a big breakfast eater, but I liked the yogurt and fruit options. My son loved the pancake maker. The rooms were clean. My only complaint was that the beds squeaked when you sat or rolled around on them. There is a great water front walk across the street. We didn't use the Peekskill train station (used Cortland instead due to train times), you can walk to the Peekskill station. I found it to be very much what one would expect at a Holiday Inn Express.

I kept getting the run-around with reps on the phone and was getting frustrated until I requested to speak with the front desk at the hotel. - SGShane GassonJan 2, 20265.02nd time we have been here in 2 years, and it hasn't disappointed. The rooms are superb and are cleaned well and fully stocked with all you would expect from a hotel. Service from the front desk is fast and professional, breakfast is decent and location is perfect.
