2nd time we have been here in 2 years, and it hasn't disappointed. The rooms are superb and are cleaned well and fully stocked with all you would expect from a hotel. Service from the front desk is fast and professional, breakfast is decent and location is perfect.

I spent 2 day trip and night in this hotel, the people at the front desk were friendly. The rooms were so clean, well-stocked with towels and hotel stuff. Not too far from Downtown Peekskill and a beautiful scenic view of the park, I'll definitely love to return in the future.

Front desk was very kind & greeted us upon arrival. Ample parking. We were in one of the double Queen suites. It smelled like sour milk upon entry. Good thing I always bring a wax warmer with me. It has a pull-out bed. When my daughter pulled the bed out, someone’s nasty, dirty, boxers fell out of it. I contacted the front desk & they immediately sent someone to remove them. Front desk apologized. Needless to say, I had to share a bed with 2 teens because she didn’t want to sleep there. But it made me question the cleanliness of everywhere else. The heat works very well! Also, no noise from it! Sleep was disturbed at 5 am each morning by the myriad of tractor trailers lined up across the street. It was so loud I had to make sure the window wasn’t open. On the plus side, you’re right next-door to the fire department. You also get to hear that going off. Thankfully, it was not frequent. Other than that, it’s quiet. We had a fabulous view out the window….lol! Lastly, if you want to swim you have to sign in & wait for a staff member to watch you. Something about being the law in that county. My kids thought that was too weird, so we skipped swimming. Breakfast was fine. Like every other holiday inn. They did a great job of keeping the area clean. There are soda vending machines. Its a surprise what you get because no matter what button you push, it gives you something else. Usually water. It’s not a was an ok stay.

I am a diamond member who travels with IHG over 200 nights per year. This particular hotel should be avoided. I was not acknowledged as a diamond member. I requested a first floor room was told no. No upgrade was offered, I know for a fact that they had been available according to their own booking site, but was just lied to. When I got to my room it had a musty smell. The desk was dirty and banged up. Having status means nothing to this particular operator. The television in the room is ridiculously small. There are better options at the same price point near by.
