  Great location. Pictures on line of rooms look great, but the room I'm in is pretty beat up. Dusty. Broken molding laying next to where it needs to be fixed. Looks like drain flies. Hopefully other rooms are better. Poor room lighting- which helps hide the beat up walls and furniture. Gym equipment does not work. Evening staff were very friendly, but unfortunately do not know how to fix or operate equipment. Thre is one chair for the table which is great if you are in the room with no company, but the room has 2 queen beds, so not enouh seating if you're traveling with someone. I will not be returning.

  We got into a car accident late at night which totaled the car (deer ran in front of the car) and had to find a place to stay. The employees here were so kind and understanding, gave us a discount, and the room was clean and well furnished. Staying here was the highlight in what otherwise was a shitty situation.

  This place is so dirty. I don't usually stay at a BW, but due to positive reviews AND the location, I booked two rooms. Fortunately, I only booked ONE night. It is SO dirty. Our rooms weren't ready at 4 pm. They were "cleaned" in about 5 minutes. We had to pretend like we were camping to stand it. The lure of this place is its location in Palmyra. Go stay at the Lake House on Canandaigua instead. You can thank me later. This place is so dirty, gross, and uncared for. I forgot to mention the tub didn't drain. We'd get wet, turn off the water, soap down, then turn the water back on while standing as far back in the tub as possible to rinse off. Nobody wants to stand in the hair and grime soup from the last 100 guests. So disgusting. Also the toilet bowl hasn't been cleaned near the inside rim, probably ever.

  This was the worst hotel I have stayed in! The rooms were gross, the windows and roof leaked water. When I told them the window was leaking all they did was tell me I could come down and get towels for the mess. The walls had foos stains on it and the bathroom had hair all over it. It was disgusting. It is worth staying farther away and driving a little them staying here!

  Im sorry for the negative reviews. We had the opposite experience. Have to say, we didn't check recent reviews until after we booked (with no refund because we did so within 24hrs of our stay) and were terrified by them. But we found this hotel to have courteous staff, and our room was very clean and in great condition, even compared to other hotels at twice the price. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the shower floor. At first we thought it might be dirty or moldy. It was neither. We were in an accessiblity room and it was clear the floor was worn some from wheel chairs and walkers is all. A very good stay!
