We had high hopes for this hotel, considering the brand. But upon arrival, they informed us of a double booking and had to change our room. Ok, 2 queens instead of a king... no biggie. On day 2, we are jolted out of a good sleep at around 9 am to the sound of doors very loudly slamming against the wall very close by. We hoped it would stop, but no cigar. Over and over for about 10 minutes, extremely disruptive and loud banging. We thought maybe it was a child so called the front desk. They said they would take care of it. Alas, it continued for another 5 minutes... we look out the door and it's the cleaning lady banging the door over and over whilst cleaning. I call the desk again and ask for a room change. This clerk was nice and agreed we could change rooms. 5 minutes go by and the front desk calls back. This time a different clerk asks me about the room change and why... I explain the ridiculous noises. She says it is common and would happen again if we changed rooms. So, your housekeeper is trained to bang the door against the wall over and over in order to clean a guest room? She was very rude and said the initial room change (due to their own overbooking mistake) was already an upgrade and no room change was in order. This was maybe the worst customer service I have encountered at a hotel, ever. The level of hospitality expertise at this location is an absolute 0.
The housekeeping is not good at all, room was pretty filthy upon arrival and they do not understand proper etiquette. The parking lot was tiny and the grounds were mediocre at best. The room was very dim with no central lighting, just little lamps here and there. No dresser space but a strange moving wire rack within the cupboard. The bed was hard as a rock, so if you like ultra firm you are all set. All in all, no good. I will not go back here. I stayed at the Red Roof Inn down in Vestal area a few weeks ago and it was superb compared to this hotel. The only pro was pet friendly, for a high cost of course.

Room smelled musty. Shower door wouldn’t shut all the way and I was expecting a tub instead. The pool was absolutely FREEZING. It was so cold my feet hurt just stepping in it. A.c unit was loud turning on and off. Stain on the comforter. The breakfast area was clean and food was good. Overall a disappointing stay at a Hampton. I expected better.

We remember the Treadway Inn and how its ownership once treated both customers and staff with care. This Hotel was a newer of the Tredway threeo that once existed but is no more and though we are disappointed with the passing of the "Tredway Inn Plaza" this is the best of the existing hotels. Its new, clean and has everything you expect from the brand.
