  Very nice hotel. Bathroom was small with a small single vanity behind the door so there was not any place to se items like hairbrush or toothpaste. Good breakfast.

  For the Best Western in Owego NY. Conf. 896151552 - The boy at the desk charged my card enough times to trigger a fraud alert and hold on the card. and then asked how the incidentals fee of $50, that I admittedly missed when booking, was going to be paid. Unwilling to accommodate other then accepting cash this ONE time. I know this sounds petty but honestly have not encountered this in budget hotels in the area before. The boy put my cash in envelope, then in a drawer and upon checkout he said housekeeping would preform this inspection. Upon checkout 6hrs later no inspection of the room for damage or theft. If your policy is this and remain insistent on collection at least follow through on check out inspection. Frustratingly aggravating. For reference, the Best Western Grand Victorian inn in Sayre(20mins), much nicer location does not charge this fee. Nor does any of the Choice branded locations in the area. Highly recommend the BW Grand Victorian location - 255 SPRING ST, Sayre, Pennsylvania 18840 United States Now get checked in after all that. Card reader on door was damaged and not reading cards. Instead of issue a new room the boy went up to see for himself, proclaims it to be a bad reader. Now after an hour of finally getting into a room. There was little to no toilet paper and the bathroom seemed used, not filthy just not cleaned and prepared for next guest and I was spent at this point and was not wanting to be charged towel rental, cup use, or remaining tp use against my incidentals held "fee". Besides the bathroom in speedway across the street was super clean. I will not be booking here at this location ever again, nor would I recommend this site to anyone, especially with the BW Grand Victorian nearby and you will treated like you are an important customer and not a necessary inconvenience.

  Aldi recently opened next door. The room I stayed in on the Aldi side turned out to be a quite noisy from the loading dock which is right next to the hotel. Stayed 2 nights, both nights they were unloading a trailer around 1000 that went on for what seemed like an eternity. Recommend requesting a room on the other side of the hotel.

  It’s one hygienic step above sleeping on the ground, and one hospitality step below a spiteful step mother. There was pee and pubes on the toilet, mildew in the shower, and only one outlet worked. The soap was broken/empty and we got partials of used toilet paper rolls. Breakfast had inventory issues on one day with an hour left in service. There was no service sticker in the elevator and the fire extinguisher was expired. We tried to find somewhere else to stay as soon as we saw the room, but the whole area was booked. Would NOT recommend and will never return to BW.

  This hotel is inexpensive, the room was clean, its quiet so you can get some sleep. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great, relatively short distance away from Ithaca and Binghamton. Plenty of food options around - apart from the obvious fast food choices (McDonalds is a short walk away), there are some good restaurants in Owego - check out MJ’s, for example.
