This is the hotel to choose if you want to be in a great location. Very near times square. Everything is just a short walk , Uber or subway ride. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood too. The Hotel also has a restaurant at the lobby if you want early American style buffet breakfast. We liked that our floor had 8 rooms only, so there is more privacy. Be aware that there are only 2 elevators and somehow the door opens slowly so this cause delays especially there are 35 floors in the hotel. The room is a bit tight but typical for a New York downtown area hotel. We have to be creative with luggage layout in the room. ( We stacked luggages to have more space.) There is a luggagehero facility just across the street too. Bed is good and comfortable. 2 Pillows soft and medium. The toilet and bathroom is nice. It was small but able to fit 2 to 3 simultaneous users, so it works out nice for a room shared by 4 guests. The wifi is usable, but not fast. The room had tv, red, a small cabinet, Keurig coffee machine, ironing board, safe. Overall would recommend if you want a great location and ok with the room space.

Perfect place to stay—we will definitely be back! The hotel is in an ideal, central location close to the subway, restaurants, shows, and bars, making it easy to get around. The restaurant at the hotel was great to grab a drink and the bartenders were phenomenal! The staff was outstanding. We had a small issue with our room, but Caroline and the manager, Sharee resolved it quickly and professionally. They also gave us great recommendations for navigating the city. Their friendliness really made a difference in our stay. Every hotel should have employees like them! The rooms were extremely clean, and we had fresh sheets daily. We were initially concerned about the elevators based on other reviews, but it wasn’t an issue. Staying on a higher floor helped—we never waited more than five minutes. The hotel also posts signs showing peak elevator times, which was helpful. If you’re a night owl who likes to sleep in, this hotel is a great fit. Highly recommend!

The hotel is aware of the entrance homeless/drug use situation and has a guard posted outside, which helps. Once inside, expect elevator waits and WiFi so slow it’s nearly non-functional, no AT&T signal either. The room redeems it somewhat; very clean, updated & new, just very small (smaller than the other hotels). I’ve stayed at 14 different Times Square hotels in last 12 months. Not my pick, will never return because I don’t feel safe & can’t work on my laptop, but not the worst either… (worst is the New Yorker) and elevator waits is not uncommon at most of these hotels. Lower your expectations of staying in Times Square!

Watch your credit card at this hotel! For most visitors, the location of this hotel is great. Easy walking distance to Penn Station, Port Authority and all of midtown. However, this stretch of 8th Ave is a little shabby and there is usually a contingent of vagrants and marijuana users on the benches right outside the hotel. So some people will want to avoid this. The rooms are good. Although the elevators are very busy at certain times of day. Expect a long wait to get upstairs. My main problem was with credit card charges. The hotel billed me twice by mistake, and also put a security hold on my card. When I asked them why they charged my card twice, they first told me not to worry about it; it's only a hold. But they did not remove the hold, even though they said they would, and the charges are still clogging up my credit card available balance. Not everybody will care about credit card holds, but if it's important to you, I would recommend manually checking out at the desk, and very carefully making sure that the staff correctly remove all credit card holds from your account. Otherwise, you'll be waiting weeks for the charges to be removed automatically from your account.
