What can I say... because of Swiss Air, our stay was postponed and then definitively lost.
Since we never received a refund, we asked for it...
Booking.com was also very nice, they tried...
They didn't respond, cowards.
No refund, not even an apology.
I understand, those are the rules, but the lack of professionalism bothered me.
You're a 4-star hotel, you could have refunded and left a good memory... for someone who would have gladly returned to you.
... instead.
Other hotels have done this
This was a rather disappointing experience at Warwick.
The room: Our room came with an air conditioner louder than a jet engine and a bed for two people which was the size for one person. There were no lights on the roof, so we had to rely on those lamps they scatter around the room. There were also useless buttons near the bedside table and the shower only came with a shower head. On the contrary, there were some pros, for example, there was a Samsung TV, two free water bottles every day, windows, a fridge with nothing inside, a coffee machine, a closet to put your jackets in, and a safe. Do not be fooled by these positive remarks though. I felt like I paid for 4 people for a room suited for 2. This hotel is definitely dated and needs a renovation for its rooms.
🛗 The elevators:
You will not notice it at first, but it will become a nightmare throughout your stay. The elevators are small, slow, and old. However, that is not the worst to come. You wake up on your first day, get ready for the day, and head outside to the elevators. You press the button, and after a minute one arrives. It is full, as only 6 people fit in one. You wait for the next one, it is full. You press again and wait for the next one, it is full. You’re standing there helpless, not knowing what to do. You press the button to go up snd an elevator arrives shortly, it’s full, seems like others had the same idea. Then, right when you are frustrated, a sweet cleaning lady comes up to you and leads you to the ✨secret elevators ✨. They are hidden away behind a door behind the tiny, cramped elevators. There, you peacefully wait for an elevator to arrive. The door opens, and it’s empty, bigger, and feels like a normal elevator. You go down with no stops at any floors and arrive at the first floor. On the other hand, if you do manage to get an elevator with enough space for you, get ready to stop at multiple floors, especially the 6th floor. And that ladies and gentlemen will be your average elevator experience, be prepared.
📍 Location: A conveniently placed hotel which is semi-easily accessible from the airport by using the AirTrain to Jamaica station, then transferring to the E line. There are many subway stations nearby with the closest being 57th St., however, there is also 7th Ave, 5th Ave, and 57th St. 7 Ave. Rockefeller Center, Central Park, the Empire State Building, and Times Square are also close by foot. I would highly recommend going to Metro Marché if you are looking for a breakfast restaurant.
🔍 Other: You will probably hear sirens during the night passing by, though it will most likely not disturb you too much. The lobby is quite nice and they do provide umbrellas on rainy/snowy days. The doorman is also helpful. The entrance probably needs an upgrade as we have to push the door rather than it being automated. This hotel is not worth the price and should not be a 4 star hotel. Also, the $2 fee to store your bag before check-in or after check-out for a few hours is ridiculous for a 4-star hotel.
📨 Recommendations: Universal power outlets would be a nice addition for ALL rooms, as well as a renovation is definitely vital for this hotel for it to keep its 4 star rating.

What a horrible service experience. Check in is at 3:00pm, my family had booked two rooms. We initially arrived at 2:00pm to drop off bags and then went off, arriving back at 5:45pm to get into our rooms. Upon arrival, we were informed that only one room was available, and the other, a junior suite, was not. After speaking to the manager we learned that they allowed the previous guests to stay late (until 4:30pm, which they overstayed), and they had not even started to clean the room. The manager asked if we needed the junior suite, and the only solution was to downgrade the room. This of course meant we were entitled to a refund of some sort, but she told us we had to go through booking.com. However, we didn’t book through booking.com, it took convincing her to check the reservation again when she realized she “confused it with the prior guests”.
They did not offer compensation for the issues. They didn’t offer a drink while we waited. All around this is an extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience.
I genuinely cannot comprehend how you can give a late checkout to guests until 4:30pm when you have 3:00pm check in scheduled in the same room.
Additionally, they charge $2/bag to store it for you, which is really not something a 4 or 5 star, supposed luxury hotel, should do.
Positive: good location and the rooms are a decent size, although the rooms are dated.
