    We felt this was a great value for this particular stay. Room is small, but on par with many hotels in Manhattan. It was clean and the staff seemed to care about the comfort of their guests. The views from the upper floor rooms are some of the best we’ve had in the city and we love the location overall. The onsite restaurant staff was kind, but menu was lacking if you have any food sensitivities at all. The value was definitely not there for the items offered compared to other spots nearby, but we managed! I would return if the rate stays comparable.

    Una absoluta vergüenza. Teníamos una reserva realizada en septiembre para una estancia de 5 noches que comenzaba el mismo 31 de diciembre. Cuando nos encontrábamos en pleno vuelo desde España a Nueva York, a hora y media de llegar al destino, nos conectamos a internet recibiendo una notificación de Booking anunciándonos la CANCELACIÓN de nuestra reserva debida a un fallo de la tarjeta de crédito. En ese mismo momento escribimos para intentar resolver el problema recibiendo una respuesta cuanto menos alucinante (adjunto foto de la conversación a través de booking en la que se puede apreciar también la fecha y la hora española de la “conversación”). De repente nos encontramos mi pareja y yo, a una hora de llegar a Nueva York el 31 de diciembre a las 8 de la tarde hora de Nueva York, con dos niños, a 5 grados bajo cero y sin alojamiento. No demostraron en ningún momento ni la más mínima preocupación por lo acontecido. Que una cadena hotelera como Hilton permita que ocurra algo como lo relatado es muy llamativo. No creo que sea política de la firma esta manera de proceder, por lo que espero estas palabras lleguen a quien proceda y pueda poner en crisis su sistema y forma de atención al cliente. Esta es una reseña que me he animado a realizar por el gran daño ocasionado debido a la forma de proceder del hotel y sus responsables ante esta situación. Lo pudimos resolver gracias a nuestra diligencia en la búsqueda de un nuevo hotel, nada fácil porque recordemos que era 31 de diciembre, y a pagar el sobrecoste de una reserva “last minute” en tan señalada fecha. Que una marca actúe así dice mucho de ella y poco bueno. Aún seguimos esperando unas disculpas proporcionales. Insisto que aquella noche debería haber resultado inolvidable por haber sido el comienzo de unas vacaciones de ensueño y no por haberse convertido en una verdadera pesadilla.

    Absolutely shameful behavior from Motto by Hilton Chelsea. We had this reservation booked since SEPTEMBER. The hotel had 4 months to verify our credit card, yet they waited until 10:00 PM on New Year's Eve to flag an issue, giving us a ridiculous 2-hour window to reply while we were flying Because we were flying from Europe,we missed the email, and they cancelled our 5-night stay immediately. By 12:15 AM on Jan 1st, my partner, our two children (ages 7 and 10), and I were left on the street in freezing -5°C weather with nowhere to go. When we pleaded for help, the staff was arrogant and heartless. Waiting 4 months to check a card and then stranding a family in the middle of the night is unforgivable negligence. Do not risk staying here."

    What a great stay! We booked last minute, used the app to book at 12:30pm the day of stay, did mobile check-in, picked a room on the 41st floor, and we were sent out mobile key by 1:00pm. Grateful we went straight there from the hotel we were departing with no time being left in limbo. We've stayed at 3 other Motto properties, this one feels elevated, and the room layout was efficient with so much storage to maximize the under 200sf floorplan. All the decor and design details made it feel more upscale than most "mico-room" properties. And WOW, book the landmark view and get a high floor! The sunrises and sunsets with views from Brooklyn to Jersey and everything in-between, just EPIC! Probably one the best views you could possibly ask for in NYC, definitely the best South facing view as the property is so tall it feels completely unobstructed. We used our credit at the bar area and had excellent service and tasty beverages. They had lots of staff and it felt safe, although I will say no one was welcoming guests or really engaging with the guest traffic. Elevators were okay during our stay, but 4 elevators for all 42 floors could easily have delays when they are busier. There is a CVS around the corner and lots of shopping options nearby. Pro Tip- take a walk in Madison square park and enjoy views of the Flatiron building. They have a dog park area if you are traveling with the pups.

    I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was exceptional, everything was spotless and very well maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The service was truly amazing, but a special thank you to Richnal and Jaime for making my stay 10x better. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Their recommendations on where to go and what to see were spot-on and really elevated my whole experience. Because of their care and professionalism, my stay felt personal, smooth, and memorable. I genuinely felt looked after from start to finish. Highly recommended, and I would absolutely stay here again!
