Was really cool and very lifelike. Having Cash/Armstrong/Elvis in the same room as the mainstream pop people was disrespectful. Should have a room for older artists who actually deserve the respect they have/had.

The area, wax figures, and many photo spots were amazing. The experience was definitely worth it, and its not crazy long or short. Felt just right. The people to greet you and guide you on the other hand are kind of gloom. They just seem like they are done with their job.

Well organized, full access with the figures, which often appear so lifelike you're expecting them to engage you. This may be the closest you'll ever get to your favorite artist, action figure or sports hero. The 4D movie presentation was terrific, the immersive experience is worth the admission.

Okay, so this has to be done at least once in your life. A NYC iconic tourist location. Fun. Light spirited. Good times. Some of these wax figures are so realistic, it's absolutely amazing. So much so that I said "excuse me" to a statue more times than I care to admit . The horror section was especially memorable as I am easily spooked. The little super hero video was in 4 d fun which is great for families. There's something for everyone and I highly recommend it for an enjoyable time out.

The best part about this place is that they continually add and take out statues and exhibits, so it's a different set up every time you go. But I have to say, the latest set up was pretty good.
1st time reviewing, but about our 15th time here over the years.
You start with a ballroom full of celebrities, and make your way from the 9th floor to the 7th to the 5th and boy are there exhibits to enjoy throughout. Every movie star, every historical figure, every political figure, top sports figures, every pop culture icon... they're in here at one point or another. And the best part is that unlike other wax museums, every celebrity actually looks like who they are meant to be. We've been to a number of museums where that's not the case, but here... from eyes to tattoos to facial expression, every statue is just amazing.
To end it off, there's a 4D Marvel Movie to enjoy with 3D glasses which is nice after all that walking from section to section of this huge multi-floor showcase space, and then you walk into a gift shop that has some pretty neat items (including the glasses of celebrities and jewelry, both of which you can buy).
There's a "snowy" Central Park section for snacks, there's a wax hand making station (you can bring home you hands in wax), and yes... there are bathrooms and they are well taken care of.
Worth it, even if it seems a little expensive. You'll definitely want to take a ton of photos and pick-up a few souvenirs along the way.
Enjoy!
