  I had an amazing experience at the Kixby Hotel in NYC. The rooms were exceptionally clean — truly spotless — and felt both modern and comfortable. The staff was incredibly polite and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. The location couldn’t be better: close to everything, easy to get around, and perfect for exploring the city. Overall, the Kixby exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York!

  I recently celebrated my birthday at the Kirby Hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The hospitality provided by the staff was truly commendable. From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed and valued. The service was attentive without being intrusive, which made my stay even more enjoyable. My room was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to cleanliness. I particularly loved the plush, comfortable bed, which ensured that I got a fantastic night’s sleep after a day of celebrations. Overall, my stay at the Kirby Hotel was a perfect way to celebrate my birthday. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway with excellent service and comfortable accommodations. Thank you, Kirby Hotel, for making my birthday so special!

  Everything was great until we found 1 roach from the drawer and 2 other giant bugs in the bathroom.. We may have been unlucky, and there are some possibilities that we brought them in through bags or something else, but they were full grown up bugs. Everything else was great though: Fitness and water/sparkling water machine, coffee ports, and some snacks/fruits given at 2nd floor, and the bed, etc etc. It's just the bug at the end of our journey. I've also seen a pillbug running above the desk, but it was too fast I couldn't take a picture of it. Also, at night, if you can't sleep with noises, not the best either - lots of car noises - even though we were at 10th floor high. Soundproof wasn't that great through windows. (But it's kind of understandable - it's right by the timesquare and broadway)

  I had a very disappointing experience at The Kixby. I arrived with a confirmed reservation for a specific room type that I had already paid for, and I showed the front desk team—Grace and her manager, Natalia—the full confirmation. Instead of working to resolve the discrepancy with the booking platform, they repeatedly blamed the platform and told me the only “solution” was to either stay in a downgraded room or pay an extra $100 per night for the room I had already selected, booked, and paid for. Not once did they attempt to contact the booking partner (until I contacted the booking partner myself) or offer any meaningful assistance. The customer service was extremely poor, and the lack of accountability was frustrating and unprofessional. There are many hotels in this area with significantly better customer service and room quality. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend choosing one of those over The Kixby.

  Just back from New York and we stayed at the Kixby Hotel for 4 nights. From check in to check out this hotel impressed us. We are 4 adults staying in 2 queen rooms. We were on the 7th floors and there is enough lifts not to be waiting long too get in one. Our room had a smaller footprint than the other but good enough for our stay. The location is superb. Subway just outside the Hotel and it is on a one way street. Time square is easy to walk to. You can get there in 15-20 minutes if walk there without stopping at any of the shops or cafes. Rooms are clean and modern as is the rest of the Hotel. Hotel bar quite dark and not too busy during our stay. Free tea coffe and water 24hours on the 2nd floor (free water bottles given at check in) There is a good choice of places to eat either side of the Hotel and the best one is accessable from inside the Hotel. Even though the roof bar was closed during our stay we sat up there with drinks from the hotel bar which we enjoyed. Could not get any closer to the Empire state building. If ever we return to New York this is where we would stay again.
