  I stayed at the Kixby hotel from Feb 13-16 and it was everything I could have wanted returning to NYC as an adult having last been when I was 11. I merely went off of countless reviews so I was anxious and too excited. The staff were so welcoming and warm to my mother and I. Entering our room, we had two double beds so the room was quite spacious. We loved the blue that is on the walls and of the light fixture, it feels quite elegant. When entering the bathroom that’s is when we knew I made the right decision when choosing this room. It is huge, with the detailing giving even when on vacay you still can pamper yourself as at home. With a bathroom as big as such, that is something you just don’t see as often at hotels in NYC. The hotel has an indoor restaurant that my mother ate at and enjoyed. A couple steps next door are amazing Japanese restaurants, one in which I had the best tofu and hot pot of my life (mind you, I am not a tofu girly)x the workout and coffee rooms are clean and well stocked. Peloton bikes are in the workout room, along with multiple coffee stations within the coffee room along with varied waters with the flavored mango water being so delicious. Let me too mention that this hotel has a book club. And last but not least as I can go on and on but don’t want to make this any longer than I have to, not even 2 minutes from the hotel is a subway station that can take you anywhere you want to be. So, if you are hesitant, just go for it! This is the place to stay! Which this review, the only downside is that my mom states that the beds could be more comfortable as she noted lumps in certain areas of her mattress. But other than that, when we want to stay in this area of town, we’ll choose Kixby every single time

  A wonderful atmosphere for a stylish, relaxing stay. The room was comfortable and every concierge was helpful and impeccably professional without being pretentious. The bar is chic and cozy. I highly recommend this hotel.

  We stayed here for a week and had a really lovely time! The room was clean and cozy, the breakfast was great, and the staff was super friendly. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back. 😊

  Generously sized and nicely proportioned room (1212), nicely fitted out with quality linens and bath items, very friendly staff, and a pretty convenient location near Herald Square and Penn Station in midtown Manhattan. I stayed here in January and February, and prices were really great, also!

  Appreciated attentive staff, cleanliness, ok pillows & mattress, good shower, ample space in room, convenient safe, frig & traditional coat hangers. Their resort fees, aka junk fees should be illegal. Legislation is forthcoming to do that. They add $30& for each nite for ordinary services such as WiFi, water & coffee. To prevent guests being blindsided by these surprise fees, they should be transparent in the marketing before reservation is purchased.
