Loved our stay. Great, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, well-appointed rooms with beds so comfortable they were hard to get out of, and a convenience room with a refreshing sparkling/still cold water dispenser, which we used multiple times a day before heading out. And traveling in the winter, that dual rain faucet shower was a divine warm up after being out in the freezing cold all day.
I recommend going to the Angelina bakery next door for their delicious bombolinos (Italian donuts) and coffee. They give a discount for those staying at the Kixby.

Our Kixby stay was great. The location is perfect! When you check in we both got a reusable water bottle. The building is an old building, but is modernized. There is a whole room full of water machines, coffee and tea. It also has a computer and printer available for all guests. The only thing I wish was better is the air conditioning in the room. We were there in July so it was hot. It felt like the room got cool but not cold at all.
Booking a hotel on your very first trip to NYC, especially at Christmas, can be daunting, but Kixby was exceptional! Jay, Jimmy, and all the others welcomed us every time we walked in, told us to enjoy our day as we left, and they were always so helpful and informative. On our last day, they held our bags while we ate lunch & arranged a taxi to take us to the airport when we were back from eating. I had no clue they would do that for us, but it really put the cherry on top of an already fabulous stay. We booked in November for 12/25-28, and the prices were really decent despite being so last minute. The location is away from the chaos of Bryant Park and Times Square, but it’s next to a major subway stop that can get you anywhere within minutes. We loved being by Macy’s, the Herald Square market, and all the Koreatown restaurants. The hotel has a small number of rooms in comparison to some, so it’s quaint, easy to navigate, and feels like a personalized experience. We got Door Dash to the lobby a couple times, but Angelina’s Bakery 2 doors down is amazing. The bathrooms in the lobby are decorated funky and fun! The beds & pillows are comfortable, the bathrooms are a decent size, and the room was tidied daily, along with new towels given. Super clean & safe place. We will 100% be back, as we were truly blown away.

Stayed at the Kixby between 10-14 Dec 2025 for our 10yr wedding anniversary and it was stunning. Rooms were spacious for NYC. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom is ample. The 24/7 refreshments room is really handy but your room is well stocked with tea and coffee also. Your rooms are kept really clean as is the rest of the hotel. Location is brilliant as we didn’t want time square. You’ll always know where you hotel is just by finding the ESB or Macy’s. Saul is so lovely and helpful as are the rest of the reception crew. We took them a goody bag of Uk treats and they were so happy. Roof top is stunning even in the winter, the view is out of this world. I would only stay here again and only recommend this hotel to others. Can’t wait to return.

I loved staying at the Kixby! It was centrally located to my office and I felt safe walking to & from both in the morning and at night.
The room was a great size and extremely clean, as was the bathroom. The lobby was warm and welcoming, the restaurant attached to the hotel had great food (I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, amazing), and they give you a water bottle upon check and there is a flavored water machine on the second floor (along with coffee, tea, and a computer to utilize). I was on the second floor facing 35th and the noise was never excessive, which I was pleasantly surprised at.
I had put my Do Not Disturb sign on my door and received a text that they had seen it, but if I wanted to schedule the cleaning team to come back at a later time to text them! A great touch.
Overall would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here when I visit next.
