    The room, location and view were okay but our stay was ruined by the nightclub that went on till 4am on the floor below us. We were at no point in the booking process or MONTHS leading up to our stay informed that there was a nigthclub in the hotel open to 4 am! The incredibly loud music, bass and party-goers' screams and singing kept us up till 4.15 am. We could not sleep a wink before this. When we checked in the receptionist said that "Oh by the way, we have a nightclub on the floor under your's and it might be a bit loud. It is open till 4 am. Here are some earplugs that may help." This was the first we had heard about this when we checked in at 10.45 pm after a long flight. We had booked the hotel for one night as we needed a central hotel to get some well-need sleep on our lay-over stay before our flight home to Stockholm the next day. Upon entering our room we heard rightaway how loud it was. It was like our room was the bathroom of the nightclub, it was that loud! When I mentioned this to the receptionist the same evening she said " Yes, I am sorry. I just got a call that it is even louder than usual tonight. Sorry." There was no mention at any point of our stay of a reduction in price, complimentary anything or even an admission that they should have told us this beforehand. TERRIBLE service! When we checked out they didn't even ask how our stay was, I assume they were avoiding the inevitable. Cowardly and again just terrible service.The $40 for "amenities" is also a COMPELTE rip off! How is wifi an amenity?? Think twice before booking...

    Hotel room is nice and spacious but got put on the 11th floor and if i knew any better… i would ask for a room that didn’t shake my entire bedroom because of the rooftop lounge club scene on the 15th floor. My husband got me a hotel room because I literally don’t like staying up late. Getting a room was the sole purpose of me agreeing to come to NYC this weekend. However.. no point. I didn’t fall asleep till 3:30 in the morning. Bose noise cancelling headphones playing white noise full blast with EARPLUGS did not deter the entire room sounding like i was at the club myself. I was at the point of tears and it ruined my weekend.

    I stayed at this hotel from February 13 to February 15. During check-in, the front desk initially could not properly locate one of my reservations, which created confusion and forced me to pay two separate security deposits. As a result, I had to authorize $150 twice ($300 total). After checkout, the hotel system continued attempting additional $150 authorizations every early morning. This has happened repeatedly even though I had already left the property. Instead of releasing my deposits, the hotel kept trying to charge my card again. I stayed in Room 912 and did not use any minibar items or take anything from the refrigerator. What is most frustrating is that I am now dealing with these authorization attempts after departure, yet the hotel has taken no meaningful action to resolve the issue. I have not received a proper apology, explanation, or any form of compensation. Guests should not have to monitor their bank account every morning after checkout just to make sure they are not charged again. Until the $300 in security holds is released and the repeated authorization attempts stop, I cannot recommend staying here. This experience caused significant stress and was completely unacceptable.

    A very nice hotel in the middle of the lower east side, the check in process was very easy and all of the staff was friendly. When we arrived, they did not have the room that we reserved available, but they did provide a complimentary upgrade. The only issue was that the upgrade was 4 floors below the onsite club. I didn't think it would be an issue but it was very loud at night. I can only imagine if you stayed any higher than floor 11. This location is in walking distance of Katz deli and some other great eats. I would not consider this a kid friendly location, especially at night.

    During our stay this past weekend, there were several significant issues. There was no hot water available in either the shower or the sink. The upgraded two-room suite with a glass wall was only partially heated. The living room area was extremely cold overnight; the temperature was approximately 50 degrees when we woke up. Parking is also problematic. The property does not offer on-site parking or valet service. The driveway is a narrow dead end off a one-way alley, and turning around presents a high risk of vehicle damage. The staff was accommodating and professional throughout our stay, and a partial discount was applied at checkout due to the issues experienced. However, the discount does not offset the fact that these problems occurred. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
