Definitely believe what you read here about the noise. I stayed on the 10th floor, and wasn't able to enjoy the room without my Airpods on in Noise Cancellation mode. Super loud and people walking and running around at all hours of the night. The rooms are large, but dated and not well kept. Rust, poor amenities and just generally feeling rundown. I won't be staying here again. It lowkey feels like a glorified hostel.

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. I was here on business from a big company that has a business arrangement with this hotel. But my reservation was canceled without notice, which I found out when I got here at 3 am from the airport. The woman at the front desk was rude and more focused on blaming me than solving the problem, so I had to involve a manager to get the room rebooked. The mattress was so uncomfortable, I had back pain every day. One morning, I asked the front desk if they could call me a cab (I was limping), and the guy was extremely rude when he told me I had to do it myself. On Friday and Saturday night, my entire bed was shaking until 3:30 am because they have a club on the 15th floor. I was on the 10th floor but could still feel the never-ending bass and even hear the music. It’s not okay to charge people upwards of $400 a night for lodging when you don’t let them sleep because the hotel is also a night club. It’s also not okay to negotiate contracts with large companies around business travel and then not take care of their employees. My stay was awful, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

We have now stayed at this hotel our last three visits to NYC. The rooms are very clean and modern with large bathrooms. The price is reasonable. It's in a great location.....you can walk from the hotel to Soho, Tribeca and Greenwich Village. There is a great Italian Restaurant (Tre Trattoria&Bar 173 Ludlow) right next door to the hotel...small and intimate with excellent food. The staff are wonderful. The hotel service is commendable. A shout out to Tiberius, who took care of us in the most courteous and professional way when there was confusion with our bill at check out. We will definitely stay here again. Anna and Laura Walton I would highly recommend staying here.

We are giving the overall rating of 2. Pros: the room was a good size, the staff were helpful, the location was great for our needs. The con: the 15th floor is a bar/ open deck area. We heard from a friend not to stay anywhere near it due to the loud music on weekends. We confirmed when we checked in that we were nowhere close to it. We were on the 4th floor, so we felt the music would not bother us. Friday night I heard some music, but not loud at all. However, we were awakened around 3:00 a.m. with partiers going down the hall talking and laughing loudly. Saturday night we were awakened by partiers again around 3:30 and then excessively loud music and loud cheering, etc. at 4:00 a.m. It was so loud our windows were vibrating! It lasted until 4:20! When we spoke to the manager Sunday morning, he made excuses that they are required to close at 4:00 and ignored the fact that it lasted until 4:20. He seemed that our comfort was not of interest, that the bar was most important. He never even bothered to apologize! That would have made us feel he at least cared. We will not return and will be very vocal when asked about the hotel. Too many good hotels to put up with this
