The service at this hotel was excellent! I used Bounce to book a luggage storage service at this hotel, and upon arrival around 11 AM, the hotel floor was FLOODED with suitcases of those likeminded to myself. Although this didn't help us feel at ease, we were informed that the luggage would be put into an interior storage room in a bit. The retrieval process was quick and they allowed us to use their bathroom in the basement, which was clean and spacious. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, as it is clean, modern, and in an amazing location.
I stayed at Homewood Suites Midtown Manhattan between December 8th to 12 this year, and overall it was a very good experience. The location is excellent—close to the subway and within walking distance of Times Square. We enjoy walking, so we often walked along 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Avenue to and from Times Square, which was very convenient and enjoyable.
The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the staff in the breakfast area were especially helpful, polite, and attentive. I am a big fan of Homewood Suites—it is always my first choice. I have been a Hilton Honors member for almost 20 years, and staying at Homewood Suites always makes me feel like home. Having breakfast included and coffee always available really adds to that “home” feeling.
The only small issue was with the front desk during check-in. When I arrived, I informed the front desk staff that I had two bookings—one for the first night and another for the following three nights—and requested to stay in the same room for both reservations. I was told this would be fine. However, when I was given the key card, the staff wrote down an incorrect room number. We went to that room but could not open it. Another guest then arrived with a key card for the same room and was able to enter. I had to go back down to the front desk to resolve the issue.
The next day, I checked again with the front desk to confirm that we would remain in the same room for the next three nights. It turned out that I had only been checked in for the first night. The staff had to check me in again for the second reservation and issue new key cards. If I had not asked, I might not have been able to access the room, and I am not sure what would have happened to our belongings.
As a long-time Hilton Honors member, this was unexpected and the first time I have experienced such an issue at a Homewood Suites. Despite this, I still appreciate the hotel, its location, and the overall comfort it provides.
The location was good. Handy to most things. Very close to different transport options.
Check in was messy. Arrived early and luggage placed in storage. Told room would be ready at 4pm. Arrived back 4.15pm. Not ready. Asked to wait 30 mins. Waited 45 mins and had to go back to checkin desk and chase them up. 15mins later into room.
Room was smaller than expected but did have fridge, microwave and small hot plates.
The lifts are really slow and you may wait a few times to get one.
Rooms serviced every 2nd day. Ours got missed one day but called up and they corrected.
Gym good but people can watch you from above.
The laundry was helpful.
They have a little shop which sell a few things.
The breakfast is average and super busy. Not enough seating better off to grab and go back to room.
For the price i would say below average. Staff not that friendly. You get 3 pillows on a queen size bed, why not 4?
Nice property up to Hilton Homewood expectations, just with smaller, Manhattan-sized rooms/suites. Very service-oriented staff speaking solid English with smiles. Decent hotels hot breakfast. Kitchen area had stove top, microwave dishwasher and large fridge. We'll equipped with plates, pans etc. Convenient and comparably quiet block with a fairly easy walk to theater district and about midway between Rockefeller Center and Chelsea Pier area. Many families there between Christmas and New Year's when it was sold out but still didn't feel too crowded. Rooms on 6 floors up were quiet at night. No complaints.

Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely!
The location was perfect for us, it was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, it was booked with international travelers, and the lobby was bustling with activity yet had various areas to sit and just relax. It was very accommodating. Everyone was well trained and experienced to provide what ever was necessary. One individual who was needs mentioning was Junior Ramirez. Listen up Hilton. This gentleman is a positive asset to your organization. He represents you well by the nature of his personality. He welcomes everyone with a smile and provides perfect service. He is knowledgeable, courteous, patient, helpful, and trustworthy. We felt so comfortable with him we even put his business card in our children’s pockets in case they got lost. We NEVER do that. Thank you, Hilton.
