I currently reside at this hotel, which also functions as a shelter. I am writing to formally report ongoing biased and discriminatory treatment I experience when passing the front desk. I am frequently judged due to the fact that I smoke, and staff members make negative remarks, disregard my presence, and treat me with disrespect.
This behavior is completely unprofessional and inappropriate in a setting that serves as both a hotel and a shelter. The residents who live here deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. The conduct is especially concerning during overnight shifts, particularly involving staff members Diamond and Cassandra and the Security with the Locs.

We had a pleasant. The location is very convenient and easy to find, especially when using Uber—we had no trouble locating it after arriving from the airport. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.
We’d like to commend Cassandra for her excellent service, and a special thank you to Diamond for the complimentary water. Their service was truly top-notch and deserves recognition.
As for the room, the ceiling needs a little cleaning, thankfully it didn’t trigger my rhinitis and it is on the smaller side, but it was presentable, and comfortable. It had air conditioning, , heater, a TV, and a cozy vibe overall.
While I can’t say the surrounding area feels 100% safe, being alert and cautious is advised. That said, the location is still very convenient—there’s a nearby subway station for commuters and plenty of restaurants around, making it easy to get around and explore the city.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay in NYC.
