The actual room photos of this hotel were completely different from the pictures they posted. There wasn't even enough room to fit a suitcase. The carpet and towels smelled terrible. We booked through a platform for 1.5 times the on-site price. This hotel is definitely not a place to stay. At night, the curtains didn't block out any light at all.

Rooms are very small. Very difficult even to walk in the room. Bath area is tiny and the water spills out. The major issue I faced here was with the deposit money. They ask for a credit card while checking in and authorized $126 for 3 night stay. Again the next day they deducted another $95. When asked the Front desk, they said it was deducted by mistake and they have reversed it. But even after a week that money is not credited back to my card yet. Incorrect transactions are supposed to get reversed immediately. And $95 is Not a small amount. Since the hotel was booked through Expedia, the front desk doesn’t respond properly. They say they can’t do anything. even after a week from checkout, I didn’t get the receipt for my stay. Moreover,Though my company fully paid the room charges, taxes and even the city property tax while booking itself, the hotel still charged me $51 from the card I updated while check in. From the initial debit of $126, they credited back only $75 after a week, and no clue about the $51 as I didn’t get the receipt yet. Customer service team, I request you to look into this and provide me a response at the earliest. Edited to add response to your reply. Prior to checking in Holiday Inn, I stayed in Hilton from 11/8 to 11/12 in the same trip and I used the same card to authorise deposit while checking in. They credited the hold deposit within few hours of check out on 11/12. So wondering why it’s taking this long with Holiday Inn.

DO NOT BOOK HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I saw the mixed reviews and thought it would be fine. It was absolutely not even close to fine. Their main issue is that the upper management is completely lacking in hospitality training. The listings are inaccurate and the front desk is rude. No care or concern for disabled guests. The location and hotel are mid not too horrible but certainly overpriced for what it is. IHG should revoke membership in their portfolio. I look forward to winning my credit card chargeback. Oh and Waheeda the “general manager” you can save your copied and pasted breath responding when you did nothing to help while we were staying there and we had to check out 4 days early due to y’all’s ineptitude with no refund losing almost $3000 in the process. Certainly didn’t hear a peep out of you then even when corporate got involved so don’t bother pretending to care now like you pretend on every other review! (BEWARE THEY WILL NOT ASSIST YOU IN ANY MANNER WHILE A GUEST THERE- THE RESPONSES TO ALL REVIEWS ARE BS!!!)

Worst hotel i’ve ever stayed at. Staffs are unhelpful, except for the cleaning lady. Our sheets were dirty. Even after asking for a sheet change, which took two days for them to work on it btw, there were still stains all over and some mould. Said we could get water from the dispenser at the gym but it’s always empty. When we asked for additional bottles of water, they said we’re limited to only 2 bottles per day, which is the 500mL bottles btw. Other hotels we’ve stayed at in new york provided unlimited clean drinking water for their guests. Complained about there being a huge gap on our door, the safe not working, etc. and the staffs said they’ll send maintenance to check but nobody ever came. In the end we gave up asking… Asked for towels cause they forgot to replace them, and the housekeeping manager visited our room to check if we were saying the truth. She literally went inside our toilet to ensure there were no towels like we said… We stayed here for two weeks, not just two days. We only ever asked for a comfortable stay. Don’t spend your money on this hotel. Other than the location, there’s nothing good.
