The hotel is in a great location for easy access to New York sites. We were left disappointed when we were told that the included breakfast on the first floor was closed and that we would need to find breakfast ourselves. I was also told that a refund for this component of our stay would be sent back. I have emailed on 2 occasions to find out where our refund is and have not heard anything. 5-6th December 2025. Jane Ladhams. (Booking for 4 people)

This hotel was a good NYC experience for my family. We arrived on Christmas Day and left on Saturday after the snow fall. Location of the hotel is great. You are able to get to all area attractions within a 10-15 minute walk. The front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. Security at the entrance of the hotel helps keep the area safe. Elevators are timely. Our Room was CLEAN. Housekeeping was on point. Our Room was on the small size but it made for our experience the more. Windows are not sound proof, we heard the city wake up, stay awake and when it went to sleep…part of the experience 👍🏾. I suggest parking at the emerald green garage on 38th/8th Ave around the corner from the hotel which gave a discount for staying at the hotel or any hotel in the area. Do not park at the LAZ, overpriced. Checkout was easy and the staff very friendly. Thank you for a great stay while on our NYC Christmas getaway.

This hotel’s front desk staff showed a complete lack of professionalism and responsibility. It resulted in a very disappointing stay. My wife was extremely upset, and our first trip to New York was ruined because of the hotel’s careless and unreliable service. I paid an additional fee for a City View room and was genuinely looking forward to the view. At check‑in, I was told that the room on the 32nd floor was being prepared and to come back in an hour. When I returned exactly as instructed, I was told the 32nd floor was still not ready and was instead given a room on the 22nd floor, which they claimed was also “City View.” However, the only thing visible from the window was old buildings covered in graffiti. There was absolutely no view worth paying extra for. The upgrade fee was completely meaningless, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Because of this, I will never stay at this hotel again.

Stayed for a trip to New York during the winter holidays, the hotel had lots of points of concern. 1. The hotel has 2 elevators, that fit about 6 people of average size, but the line is long and common to wait 10 minutes or so for an elevator. 2. Because of the small lobby, the people waiting to get on the elevator and people checking in, it's possible for someone to slip through (key is needed but one can always just ask to press a floor) 3. The elevators have this annoying beeping sound whenever it's in motion 4. Once on a floor, the hallways are narrow, with electric panels near rooms, small sized stairways, and potentially deadly in case of emergencies 5. The room was very cramped, with luggage placed around, one had to step over them to enter/exit, use the restroom, or reach the closet. The closet was also full with just 2 jackets/coats 6. The beds did not seem to have been properly cleaned, there seemed to be bed bugs and legs were bitten and itchy afterwards 7. The front desk did not pickup even after multiple calls because the internet password had been setup wrongly, which in case of an emergency it would be an issue 8. Limited TV options, not even youtube or netflix 9. Internet is very spotty 10. The bed is quite short, ankles were hanging off the edge, when the person in question is around 5'4 11. The location is good, subway and train stations are only a couple blocks away, a seven eleven right around the corner.
