  This was our first time staying at Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Times Square South, and we were initially excited based on the location, pricing, and positive reviews. The check-in process was fast and smooth, which we truly appreciated after traveling. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel welcomed throughout the stay. Overall, customer service was solid and consistent. However, the biggest issue and the reason for the lower rating was the room we received. I booked and paid for a room with a king-size bed, but we were assigned a queen instead. As a tall, large individual, sharing a smaller bed with my wife made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, neither of us had a good night's rest for the entire three nights we stayed. This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience, it significantly impacted our overall experience and ability to enjoy the trip. What made it even more frustrating is that what we requested and paid for wasn’t honored, even though that was the room type confirmed upon booking. We would have appreciated either receiving the correct room, clearer communication, or some type of accommodation or adjustment to make up for the mistake. The hotel itself is clean, in a convenient area close to public transportation, and has solid amenities for a short stay. The breakfast options were decent for a quick grab-and-go start to the day, and the housekeeping staff were polite when we interacted with them. That said, comfort is one of the most important parts of any hotel stay and unfortunately, this stay missed the mark in that area. Despite how friendly the staff were, we do not see ourselves returning because our most basic request, the bed size we booked was not met.

  Great location and courteous staff.Rooms are decent sized by NY standards. Walkable to most manhattan tourist spots including TSQ, Rockefeller center etc. There are some great views of the ESB from the rooms. The breakfast is ok and has the usual holiday inn fare like sausage,cheese omelets along with cereals,muffins etc. The IHG status is recognized and staff work with you to accommodate any requests that you might have.Solid pick for the price.

  Great location, extremely convenient to Bryant Park and Times Square. Rooms are small but not significantly more so than other economy-priced rooms in the vicinity. Bathrooms are tiny and have mere inches of clearance between the shower door and toilet, which is frustrating, but are also one of the few hotels in Times Square I’ve stayed in during the past 10+ trips that have a standard door rather than the barn-style doors a lot of hotels are renovating to, which is appreciated. Service was fine, but cleaning took place later in the day as mentioned in other comments. Overall, a great place to stay.

  Rooms are clean. Service and staff was above and beyond. Location is close to subway station (4min walk). Really is a great location. It is an excellent location if you are trying to save money. Like +$100 a night savings. Breakfast was good. Will hold your bags even before/after you check in/out. Staff was super friendly and on top of any issues.

  Lokalizacja fenomenalna, obsługa miła. Pokój był całkiem przestronny jak na Nowy Jork. W łazience niestety mieliśmy problem ze spłuczką, który ostatecznie sam się rozwiązał. Na korytarzach było bardzo duszno i ciasno. Czystość nie na najwyższym poziomie. Śniadania były ok, lecz na dłuższą metę monotonne. Cena jak za lokalizację nie była zła.
