We came in November for a school trip during a week.
The beds were soooo comfortable we were so warm inside the bedsheets. We didn't have a great view because the hotel was in renovation but it was still beautiful.
The receptionists were very sweet they offered us an incredible welcoming from the beginning to the end of the trip...the hotel is near everything so it was really cool 'cause we didn't have to walk miles.
The housekeepers weren't really nice we didn't really understand them...and we had to go downstairs to ask the receptionists to beg to do the work.
Otherwise it's a really good hotel.

Well we would stay here again, rooms were definitely clean and big enough, staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good had bagels creamcheese orange apple egg bacon oatmeal etc and they had unlimited coffee and tea in the lobby all the time. We were even able to leave our luggage’s till the check in time and went out.
The location is pretty good it is 10minute walking distance from times square and if you know new york, times sq is the best place for transits so you can travel everywhere after the 10 minute walk. Maybe not the best place for elders but 10 minute walk is actually pretty good for nyc. We mostly walked back around 9pm and it was safe. They also called for our cab the next morning. Rooms got cleaned daily. Toilet was clean and big. Kinda crowded around 8am for the breakfast but we were always able to get a table.
Only bad thing I would say is the elevators went out of service a couple times and they fixed it in like half an hour but I think they dont get checked as much as they should. Not the best view in new york but it is good. Rooms were AC and easy to escalate temperature.

I'm writing this after returning home, so I'm feeling calm and unconcerned. Overall, I rate the hotel 2.5 stars. The room was awful—the wallpaper was dirty, the carpet stained, and the windows so dirty you can barely take pictures—a real failure for such a well-known company. Then there were the windows, with the temperature outside at 5 degrees Celsius, and the windows were incredibly cold. So the heating had to be on, and the noise it made was a complete disaster. Design is their business, but it's the early '90s, so it's clearly meant to be that way. There are two elevators, so it's okay. Downstairs, there's very little space to eat in the morning; people are literally sitting on top of each other, but it's manageable. The service was average. We were a couple, so two people, and we were given two separate beds... we wanted to swap them, but the information at the front desk said they only had those. The front desk lady "..." was lying, not nice. But it's manageable, of course. Overall, this hotel leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. Of course, NYC itself is a fantasy, so such a poor hotel is quickly forgotten. Finally, I would like to add that the hotel's location is very nice.

Hotel is good but I had hard time with room heating. I had visited NYC for sightseeing with family including a toddler in first week of November. It was cold. My room heater was not working and throwing cold air. I had reported an issue on my first day. Technician came, checked the heating/AC and did something but not successful. We had spent night in cold and reported an heating issue again on next day morning and left out. After reminding in evening they sent different technician. He tried to fix the heater but again unsuccessful so he has provided small portable heater which off course not enough. They would have been moved to different room instead they had taken us for granted and hadn't offered any help. Hotel management should get report for there employees and should help customers rather than ignoring it completely.

The location was great for what we came to NY for. A Broadway show. Was about a 10 min walk. The room was alittle smaller then anticipated, but clean, and worked for a place to sleep. Staff was friendly. Nice to have free breakfast. The elevators did break on the day we were leaving and some people got stuck in there. So that was quite interesting. But overall, a great stay. I unfortunately never took pictures of the room.
