I checked in late at night (past 10pm) paid almost $1k. Next morning like around 11AM, the cleaning lady gave herself permission to come into the room and wake me up to tell me that she thought check out was at 9AM so I half-asleep ran up and hurried my way outta there. The receptionist told me the deposit would be refunded and I didn't even ask her. I still havent received my deposit refund and for some reason I was charged 2 different transactions. I stayed there 12/21/2025 for about 12 hours (at most), left the next morning 12/22/2025.

Customer service was disappointing and impersonal. When I queried why there was no coffee in the room, there was no acknowledgement or explanation offered. I was simply told, repeatedly, “we’ll send some up,” with no attempt to clarify whether this was a policy, a temporary issue, or an oversight. The interaction felt scripted rather than responsive, with no inquiry, engagement, or sense of give and take. It was disheartening. While the room was clean and the location is excellent, this experience reflects a broader pattern I am increasingly noticing when travelling across the US. Based on this stay, Hilton no longer feels consistent with the standard I have come to expect from the brand over many years.

Stayed in NYC for a weekend (12/19 - 12/23/2025) and chose this hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated but for the price, it was way worth it. What we enjoyed about the hotel was its location, price point, staff, and noise level. Staff was always asking if we needed water, directions, or recommendations when they saw us. We did not have any issues with street noise or random partygoers. The hotel is close enough to walk to the busy areas (15-20min to Times Square) yet far enough to not be in the middle of the NYC Christmas madness. Rooftop bar was a plus, nice atmosphere and great for parents to escape for a cocktail while the kids stayed in the room. All in all, very satisfied with our stay.

If you want a party stay here. If you want to bring a family here forget about it. Live rock music until 1 am. You will be able to make a set list not joking with loud crowd as well. Unbelievable that management knows this and does not inform staff or guests. Maybe I should have not stayed when the first thing I smelled in the lobby at check in was drugs and lysol combined. If you want any Hilton hotel services good luck. You have to get your own room service. Towels are old and dingy. Stains on bed linens. Lighting does not work. Heating air unit works ok in one room and the adjoining unit its on a loud cycle. View is of equipment on a roof line. Stay anywhere even in times Square

Shocking, Disrespectful, and Possibly Discriminatory Treatment – Absolutely Not a Hilton Experience My stay at Hilton New York Fashion District was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and it was deeply disappointing and upsetting. From the moment we arrived, the lack of professionalism was obvious. There was no staff available to assist with luggage, which is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be a 4-star property under the Hilton brand. The behavior of the front desk employee was particularly troubling. She was cold, rude, and dismissive toward us. What made this situation extremely uncomfortable was the clear difference in how we were treated compared to other guests standing nearby. Those guests were greeted warmly and even offered drinking water, while we received none of that courtesy. This behavior made me feel singled out and unfairly treated, and I could not help but feel that the treatment may have been discriminatory in nature. The room itself did not meet even basic expectations. It was missing essential amenities such as toothbrushes and bathroom slippers — items that should be standard in any hotel of this category. The final and most unacceptable experience happened at check-out. I asked for assistance with my luggage and was flatly refused, with the explanation that no staff are available before 7 a.m. This excuse is completely unreasonable and unacceptable for a Hilton hotel. This property does not deserve a 4-star rating, nor does it reflect the standards of the Hilton brand. Frankly, I believe I would have received better service at a one-star hotel or even a roadside motel. I strongly urge Hilton corporate management to investigate this property, particularly the front desk staff and their conduct toward guests. No guest should ever feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or potentially discriminated against in a hotel carrying the Hilton name. This was a humiliating and frustrating experience, it will never be repeated, and I strongly warn others to avoid staying at this hotel.
