I will not be staying at the Hilton Tribeca again. For a Hilton property, this was shockingly below standard. The rooms feel dated and didn’t feel clean upon arrival. The noise from the floor above was constant — it sounded like people were running and jumping around for hours, making it nearly impossible to sleep. On top of that, the overall environment felt unsafe. I’ve never felt so anxious staying somewhere. This is a Hilton — you expect a certain level of quality and security, and this location delivered neither. I’m glad it was only a 2-night stay and I will not be returning.

Alert: Fraudulent Smoking Fee – No Accountability. My husband, an oncologist working on a lung cancer drug, and one of our daughters have asthma. We don’t smoke, yet we were charged a $300 smoking fee plus tax. Our daughters woke with headaches, and we suspected a heating system issue, especially since the buttons on it were melted. The hotel manager, Shivani, insisted we smoked or vaped, which we do not. We asked for physical evidence, but they refused, claiming their automated system was flawless. Corporate was equally unhelpful, leaving us with no resolution.

This hotel was very conveniently located right by a subway station, making it easy to get around the city. The area felt safe and was in a nice neighborhood. I also appreciated the security measures — the doors were locked and required key access, which made me feel very secure during my stay.
The only downside was the elevators, which were a bit slow and inconvenient at times. Overall, though, it was a comfortable and well-located place to stay

Hilton Garden Inn New York/Tribeca is an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay in one of Manhattan’s most vibrant neighborhoods. The location is unbeatable — right in Tribeca, with easy access to SoHo, the Financial District, and multiple subway lines just steps away.
The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. For New York standards, they are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with cozy beds and modern amenities that make the stay relaxing after a long day exploring the city.
The staff is welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out are smooth and efficient. The overall atmosphere of the hotel feels calm and secure, which is a big plus in such a busy city.
There’s also a restaurant and bar on-site, convenient for breakfast or a quick evening meal. Everything is well organized, and the service reflects Hilton’s reliable standards.
If you’re visiting New York and want comfort, convenience, and great value in a prime location, Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca is a smart and dependable option. Highly recommended
The rooms could use a refresh, which being a part of Hilton means that will likely soon. The hot water… dear god it’s hot. There is definitely a recirculation line running, because the hot water at the 3rd floor was quick to the tap. However, it was literally steaming out of the faucet. I am all for hot water but a small child or elderly person would be in grave danger with this lava coming out of the spigot. The owners need to consider a 3-way mixing valve in the mechanical room that services the entire building before someone gets scalded… I would not be surprised if this hasn’t happened already. Great location, and very friendly staff though!
