Had already selected room and checked in online via Hilton Honors app but when went to pick up key, told the room was no longer available and given one on lower floor. Not great start but room fine. No explanation as to why room no longer available. Staff nice and hotel in good location.

We stayed here 4 nights in December with a baby and loved it!!! The staff is so nice and very attentive. We loved the view from our king room on the 22nd floor, summit one Vanderbilt was right in front of us! The rooms aren’t huge but it was big enough for 2 adults and a baby. Super convenient that you can message the staff for any needs via text. We asked for a pack n play and had one delivered to our room probably within 15 min, amazing. The location is great! Pretty much walking distance to everything but not in the middle of all the noise. Subway access was also a short walk. We would 100% stay here again. Pictures are of our room (when we were leaving) and our view at night!!!

We had the absolute best stay at this Hilton. The location truly couldn’t be better—within easy walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, and even neighborhoods like Chinatown and Tribeca. The subway entrance is right across the street, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere in the city. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was Arlene. She is an absolute gem—so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely full of heart. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcomed and cared for. We arrived early, and she graciously arranged for us to check in ahead of time, which made such a difference. After learning we were in the city to celebrate my niece’s 13th birthday, Arlene went above and beyond. While we were out for the afternoon, she surprised us by decorating our room with balloons and streamers. It was such a special, thoughtful touch that meant the world to our family and made my niece feel incredibly celebrated. This stay exceeded every expectation, and it’s because of people like Arlene who turn a great hotel into an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to return and will absolutely be recommending this Hilton to everyone we know.

We were disappointed with our recent stay. We found a dried-up contact lens in our bed sheets. When we notified the front desk, they apologized and asked if we wanted the sheets changed which felt like an obvious expectation rather than a question. The room itself was extremely small, especially considering the $700-per-night price tag. We could barely open both of our suitcases or move around the room without bumping into each other, which made the stay feel cramped and uncomfortable. A few basic amenities also fell short. The reading lights by the bed didn’t work, and while this isn’t a major issue on its own, it’s something that should function properly in a hotel at this price point. The bathroom door, a sliding barn-style door located directly next to the bed, didn’t fully close, which you can imagine is uncomfortable especially in such a small room. Beyond that, there were very few guest comforts or extra touches to help make the stay feel worthwhile. Overall, despite the hotel’s location, the experience didn’t meet expectations, especially given the rate. We would not choose to stay here again.
