  Owen O' Hara was so kind to us. He gave us a personal tour when we came to see the NY skyline at sunset but the bar was closed as it was a Tuesday. The view of the Nrw York skyline was breathtaking and will be a memory we will never forget.

  Physically, hotel is fine. Shower water pressure is good. Hotel restaurant/bar is as expected. Rooftop bar views are great. Decor is cute. Location is good for trips into Manhattan using trains

  One of the best things about this hotel are the amazing views of manhattan from the room and the 18th floor outdoor patio This hotel has lots of character, fun furnishings and a school theme with lots of books, nice places to hang out The restaurant was alright, food was ok Staff were friendly and worked hard to please in all areas of hotel front desk, restaurant, bar, house keeping, roof top bar area, and security Rooms had keyed access, were spacious and clean. I was able to have access to my room by 11:00am with no problems. To get an uber off Roosevelt island into times square can be quite expensive $75.00 A suggestion would be to take the Roosevelt tramline over into manhattan which saves you $40.00 off your uber ride. It’s very easy to get to LaGuardia Airport from the hotel Thanks for the great stay

  It was the best hotel I stayed at in New York. It had a beautiful view, safe and lovely walking paths, great lunch, and even free coffee in the lobby.
