I've been in bad hotels before, but this has to be the worst ever.
It's just my wife and me, and our son. We had reserved a room with two beds, but we were given a room with only one. When we asked the clerk about it, how three people were going to sleep in one bed, they said, "Figure it out." We reserved an accessible room because I have a mobility scooter. We did get a room with an accessible shower, but navigating my scooter through the halls without hitting every wall is impossible, or needing to constantly back up and reposition it. Now, it's January, 30° outside, and not a single drop of hot water in the shower. We let the shower run for a few minutes to see if it got hotter, but the water barely trickled out, so we'd have to wait days if that were the case.
It is definitely a bad first-time experience in NYC.

My experience with the front desk staff member named Romaine was extremely disappointing.
He was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in doing his job. When I didn’t fully understand something in English, instead of repeating or explaining, he simply ignored me. Any questions I asked were answered with obvious annoyance, as if I was a burden.
His attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming, and it genuinely felt like he did not want to be there or help guests at all. Front desk staff are often the first point of contact, and this kind of behavior leaves a very negative impression.
I strongly suggest better customer service training, especially in patience and basic courtesy.
This is not the level of service anyone should expect from a front desk employee.

I asked about parking and they gave me wrong address, nothing there. Had to go park st another place to pay full price. Checked in at 3. Didn't get a room till after 4pm and I have to wait in line again to even get the room card so didnt get up till almost 445pm. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, 2 star at most. Rooms are tiny. We've been to other hilton and its definitely better than here. Heat blows cold air. dropped to one star. Shower also doesn't run properly. It either runs cold or very hot. They should of moved is to a other room but they sent a technician. Didn't change much. Also theres no point checking in bags if your gonna have to bring it up yourself. Not family friendly as its a tight room. A luggage can only be placed down and open between front door and bathroom so also not convenient.

Location is amazing. Subway access is very close, alot of different coffee shops, halal carts, shopping, and restaurants are in walking distance. In my opinion this location is better than Times Square.
I purchased a water case from Walgreens and brought it back to the room because after your 1st two free bottles, they’re $3 for a 16oz bottle. Definitely get a water case!
Rooms are small if you’re traveling with more than 2 people but doable.
Shower water is nice & hot.
Staff is very helpful and welcoming.
Elevator’s are sooooo slow. I was thankful that I was only on the 5th floor and I can use the stairs because the elevator’s are the major downside to this hotel. It takes forever.
Other than that, I had a great time!
