  I dropped my luggage to be stored the morning of check in. The lady on the front desk told me I had to pay $1 per bag for storage and it had to be paid in cash. Firstly, I’ve never stayed at a hotel that charges for luggage storage before. Secondly, the fact it had to be paid in cash was major red flag to me. May be genuine, but appeared like an employee was just trying to force some cash out of guests for themselves.

From the very moment of arrival, the front desk team demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency. The check-in process was seamless, welcoming, and handled with genuine warmth that immediately set the tone for an exceptional experience. The dining room service was equally remarkable. Every interaction reflected attentiveness, organization, and a sincere commitment to excellence. The ambiance, presentation, and service standards were consistently refined and first-class. Security was evident and reassuring, providing complete peace of mind throughout the stay. The location is excellent—convenient, accessible, and ideally situated—enhancing the overall experience even further. Regarding the room itself, the layout was exceptionally well distributed. While it was not overly spacious, it offered slightly more than what was necessary, making it perfectly designed with intention and purpose. Every element felt thoughtfully placed, creating a balanced environment that maximized comfort, functionality, and privacy without excess. In summary, excellence was consistently demonstrated across every area. Cleanliness, service, punctuality, security, location, privacy, and intentional design were absolutely five stars.   Мы останавливались в этом отеле два раза. Оба раза были достаточно хороши, работники были вежливы, приветливы, добры, и даже поменяли нам номер после жалобы на запах еды в одном из номеров, были заинтересованы помочь нам и помогли. Хорошее местоположение, общественный транспорт в шаговой доступности, недалеко Таймс Сквер, отличный персонал на ресепшене, достаточно чистый отель, номера, но наше пребывание здесь ииспортил неизвестный нам гость в соседнем номере, который шумел в районе шести утра, решив посушить волосы и не думая о других людях, которые еще спят в соседних номерах на этаже после долго дороги. Я понимаю всё: может быть важный день, событие, встреча, меооприятие, но я бы ни за что не позволила себе шуметь так рано и так долго, как это делал наш сосед. НИ ПРИ КАКИХ ОБСТОЯТЕЛЬСТВАХ! НИ РАНЬШЕ 8 УТРА!!! Слышимость в номерах прекрасная, поэтому не надейтесь отдохнуть в тишине! Здесь вы услышите и детский плач, и шум фена для волос, и кашель, и общение горничных между собой, и грохот дверей, и слив в туалете (или у меня просто отличный слух?). Отель неплохой за свою цену, но ужасная шумоизоляция, или ее полное отсутствие, разбудят вас рано утром и вам придется ждать, пока кто-то за стеной просушит свои волосы... Если вы настроены поестьв отеле, то српзу огорчу вас: завтрак в стоимость не включен. Можно купить завтрак за отдельную плату, но лучше за эту стоимость позавтракать в хорошем кафе, хотя каждый ввбирает сам! П.С. я хотела бы поставить 1 звезду отелю, потому что мне очень впжна тишина и я была очень зла за испорченный сон в раннее время, но понимаю, что работники не виноваты ни в чем и мы даже набрались терпения и ждали, пока сосед выключит фен, но мой вам совет: вы платите такие же деньги и не надо терпеть шумы ранним утром. Жалуйтесь! Я считаю, каждый должен уважать покой других людей, тем более в общественном месте!

  We just spent seven nights at the Best Western Premier Empire State Hotel as a family of four (two adults and two children), and overall, we had a very positive experience. I work in the hospitality industry myself, so I can be extremely picky when it comes to choosing accommodations. Normally, I wouldn’t stay in a three-star hotel, but the price for this Manhattan location was very attractive, the rooms are carpet-free (a big plus for me), and the hotel looked fairly recent, which is what drew me in. The location is excellent — perfect for exploring the city. The room was small, which is very common in New York, but since we mainly slept there, it wasn’t an issue. The beds were very comfortable, and the room itself was clean and functional. You shouldn’t expect too many in-room amenities. If I may point out a downside: there is a significant gap of several centimeters between the bottom of the door and the floor. It almost feels as if the door is not fully closed, and naturally, you can hear everything happening in the hallway. The same goes for the ventilation system, you can hear noise from other rooms. I believe we were simply lucky not to have noisy neighbors, because otherwise it would have been quite disturbing. Housekeeping could also have been a little better. The floor wasn’t cleaned even once during our seven-night stay, which I don't find normal. Where this hotel really shines is the staff. Khaoula and Khalid were extremely kind and welcoming and provided excellent service. You are very lucky to have them at the front desk. Beyond them, the rest of the staff was consistently warm and polite, always greeting us with a hello and goodbye when we passed by, which added to the overall positive experience. Overall, for the location and price, the First State Hotel is a solid choice in Manhattan. There are a few areas that could be improved, but the friendly staff and convenient location make it a very worthwhile option.

  My stay at the Best Western Premier Empire State Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The service was top-notch, making me feel so welcome, and the location couldn't be beaten for exploring the city. The rooms were super comfortable too. Seriously, if you're looking for an amazing experience with incredible service and a perfect location, this is the place!
