We ate at the restaurant’s function “Dining in the dark”. Eating blindfolded was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. The food was good also.

I paid entirely too much money for the size of the room I was given- but to be fair I did book on a peak weekend in NYC. The normal fare for the hotel isn't as steep as what I had paid, but that is honestly my biggest gripe.
I stayed in a queen bed room with my partner, and it was incredibly cramped for the 2 of us. We had to back up out of each other's ways a lot and step around each other. There's barely a foot of room between the foot of the bed and the wall, and the TV was mounted there anyway, so I often had to crawl on the bed to access the other side of the room.
Maybe if you had a higher floor, the view would have made up for it. We stayed on the 4th floor, so our room had barely any natural lighting with the other high rises in the way and our view wasn't anything to rave about.
All these photos online are all the higher floors and corner rooms with floor to ceiling windows. That's not the reality for probably most of the hotel.
The staff was super friendly, and the hotel itself is very cute and trendy. I had no issues with my stay at all, but I wanted to leave the review to set people's expectations of rooms and size.
The location is amazing. Close to a subway stop and KTown. The food options nearby are absolutely incredible.
I would say this is the definitely the kind of hotel you stay in when you are spending the whole day OUT and only need a place to sleep.

After searching for weeks to find a hotel that was nice and budget friendly, we finally landed on Arlo NoMad, and I'm so thankful that we did! Check in was quite easy and we were able to settle in quickly. The rooms arent as big as we are use to but it New York-- there's really no such thing as big rooms in a city that has to maximize as much space as possible. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect! Everything that wanted to do was either 20 min walk or a quick subway ride which was not bad at all. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to the big apple!

We had a great three-night stay at Arlo NoMad in December 2025! From the moment we arrived, Brianna M. at guest services was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When she asked about the purpose of our trip, I mentioned we were celebrating my 30th birthday. She kindly said she would see if a complimentary upgrade might be possible for our second day.
Our initial room was adequate, definitely small, but had everything we needed. On our second day, Brianna M. went above and beyond and upgraded us to a stunning city-view where we could see the Empire State Building! I believe the upgraded room was an accessible room with a roll-in shower. The only downside was the shower setup — the showerhead had to be held the entire time, and water tended to pool on the bathroom floor while showering. It wasn’t ideal, but the incredible views more than made up for it.
Brianna M. was accommodating throughout our stay, and the entire staff was consistently friendly, always greeting us, even in the elevator. The location is great and very central, making it easy to explore the city.
