The hotel provides a cool aesthetic and quality service. Prices at the bar and restaurant (Altair) are the standard Manhattan “excessively overpriced” but good service, good ambiance, and good taste. Interestingly though, the price of the stay at Arlo itself is very affordable. As a side note, the rooms are small and not really a great place to take a meeting (room has no workspace) or do work if you need it quiet (lounge spaces have music or people chatting).

Business stay. Location is convenient. Clean and modern. Staff are friendly. Rooms are small, but they are well designed. However, I was disappointed that there were no coffee-making facilities in the room — an Nespresso machine would have been expected at this level. Food was a bit too fussy for my taste, and it was a shame that breakfast was not included. I was also not a fan of the steam guns provided instead of an ironing board. While I understand the space limitations, I’ve found these to be largely ineffective, and actually make my shirts worse.

I experienced multiple issues during my stay. My personal belongings were discarded without any prior notice or contact, and no proper explanation or apology was given. Housekeeping was not done even though the Do Not Disturb sign was turned off, and basic amenities like towels and water were missing. Overall, the service and communication were very poor. However The location is good.

The Arlo was perfectly centrally located just a 13 minute walk to Time Square and the theater district. There were so many options to eat that you could walk on any corner and find something for everyone's taste. The welcome staff at the hotel was top notch! The elevator system has you feeling safe being that you need your card to even enter the floor to your room. The coffee shop and bar were elegant. I couldn't believe the value in the price. The hotel was modern and all the views from any room give you the New York experience you are there for. The Room was super clean had everything one would need amenity wise. This hotel surpassed my expectations. I would stay again and definitely would recommend.
