Sicuramente NON ci ritornerei. 👎👎

The rooms were small but nice, clean and comfortable. The service was impeccable! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location was in a nice neighborhood with lots of nice restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, drug stores, etc., and subway stations were close and easily accessible. I would stay there again without question. The only con was the small bathroom and the shower would not stay regulated. It kept going from hot to cold. My friend took baths so it was not an issue for her. It was not enough of a deterrent to spoil our stay. All in all, I would give it 4 stars.

Grat location, just 7 blockets from Madison Square Garden & 5 from Penn Station, & there's a coffee/lite fare establishment on the corner as well as an in-house restaurant/burger/breakfast joint.
The staff was amazing. They were able to accommodate my need to check in early & check out late.
The only reason I've given the room category 4 stars was because there was no clock or indication of where the ice machine was which if not in the hotel directory book, I usually obtain by looking at the map posted on the back of the room entry door.
I would consider staying there again.

Extremely poor handling of card authorizations and untrained staff
I am currently staying at Holiday Inn on 6th Avenue, Manhattan, and this has been a very frustrating experience.
Although my accommodation was fully prepaid before arriving the hotel took a $150 security deposit on my debit card at check-in, which is normal. However, shortly after that, multiple additional amounts were blocked on my card, including duplicate deposits and an unexplained larger authorization.
When I contacted the front desk several times, the staff were completely unaware of what was happening, gave contradictory answers, and clearly lacked basic knowledge about card authorizations and deposits. No one was able to explain why multiple holds were placed, and no one took responsibility for resolving the issue properly.
The most concerning part is that the staff kept saying “we don’t see the money” instead of understanding that pending authorizations still block a guest’s funds. This shows a serious lack of training and professionalism.
For an international traveler, having hundreds of dollars blocked without explanation is unacceptable. The situation caused unnecessary stress and wasted a lot of my time.
I expected much better from a Holiday Inn property in Manhattan. Poorly trained staff and careless handling of guest payments are not what you expect from a hotel of this brand.
Never again . I do not recommend this hotel

You pay for the location... it's ideal to visit any part of Manhattan and NYC, subway close by but also a lot of things in walking distance. The rooms were nice, tidy and functional. Staff is kind as well. We even had a direct view to the Empire State Building from our room on the 17th floor. Downside is that there are only 2 elevators, waiting time guaranteed. Also the elevators are really noisy if you have a room adjacent to them, as we did. Airco also very noisy too and warm water for showering sometimes not available. I certainly cannot recommend the breakfast, especially if not included in your room rate. Not worth the money, better off with the various bagel shops around! All things considered - due to the location and the nice and comfy room, I would stay there again.
