  We stayed one night at the Candlewood Inn on Easter Weekend. The customer service here is good and the staff are accommodating. I was pleased to stay here. I was very impressed with how clean this hotel was. We would stay here again.

  Excellent place. Beautiful room & shower. Loved the Kitchen and being able to cook full meals for ourselves instead of constantly going out. The kids loved the pool, and the background patio is beautiful. Also Danielle was great & Hospitable! We will be back again.

  The property itself was nice, but my experience with the front desk ruined the stay. I called the number listed on Google yesterday to make a reservation and asked if there was any benefit to booking with the hotel directly vs booking online where it was less expensive. The man I spoke with (I don’t recall his name) said could ensure any special requests I made were honored if I booked by phone: early check-in and a late checkout at 12. Today, I received a call on the hotel room phone at 11:08. The person I spoke with did not offer any greeting and an abrupt, rude “what’s going on, do you need to extend your stay or something?” It took me a second to understand what she was saying because she didn’t offer any explanation of why she was calling. I realized she probably didn’t know I had been given a late checkout and normal check out is at 11. I explained the arrangements the reservations agent had made. She demanded to know who I’d spoken to and when I said I didn’t remember the name, she told me reservations can’t grant those requests. This was confusing because at check in she had acknowledged my room was able to be ready early since we switched from a single king reservation to a double queen to accommodate the early check in request. After a few minutes of her aggressive tone, I said I would pack and leave. When I came to the desk she continued to be rude and insisted “this is just how I speak.” I asked for a manager who was professional and apologetic and attempted to understand the situation, despite the front desk employee repeatedly interrupting me and even calling me a liar to my face. I asked the manager if the calls were recorded and she said they weren’t which is a bummer because it would be a perfect example of how not to treat customers. It’s worth noting both the front desk person and the manager said the reservations person I spoke to was “not affiliated” with the hotel. I told them I didn’t have any way of knowing that. When I was speaking to him, he had put me on hold to speak with the front desk. As far as I knew they are two different departments working directly with the hotel. And at no point did he tell me I needed to confirm the arrangements with the front desk at my arrival. If not for this interaction I would have given the hotel five stars. Instead I will not stay here again and cannot recommend anyone does until the hotel addresses the behavior of this front desk employee.

  I hosted an event here. It was a wonderful experience. April help me coordinate and she was 100/100 very attentive and overall very accommodating. Tabitha was another beautiful employee that went above and beyond for my family and I. Tabitha also gets a 100/100. I will definitely be back. That's for making everything so seamless and stress free
