  I stayed for 10 days in December with my mom, and we had a wonderful experience. All the staff were very friendly. I booked through a platform, and they knew everything about the reservation when I did the check in. The bedroom was not tiny, as I had read in other reviews; in my case, I could open both suitcases without any problem. The shower was really good, and everything was clean. They also offered breakfast with delicious breads, desserts, and coffee, and it was always ready at 7 a.m. Regarding the location, I’m from South America, so the area did not feel unsafe to me. I understand that for people from some countries it may feel unfamiliar, but honestly, it’s safe—we arrived many times at 1 a.m. and everything was okay in the zone. After all, this is New York, and Queens and Brooklyn have a similar vibe, different from Manhattan. You only need to walk about 8 minutes to the “21st Street–Queensbridge” station, which is a great station with an elevator and easy access to Manhattan via the M subway line. Additionally, you can find stores and restaurants close to the hotel. Recommended: Palace Grill, Taco Bell and Al Hanaa Halal Food.

  The Nedia has some of the friendliest and most accommodating staff I’ve ever encountered in New York. They were above expectations and took such great care in attending to me during my stay. Of course there’s some wear and tear to the rooms, but everything was clean. Queensbridge is a place rich with history and so lively, I wish there were more local places to explore, shop at, and eat at. However the subway is a quick walk away, and the neighborhood never felt unsafe for my husband and I. Would stay again

  Charged nearly 266 during peak time in December, absolutely not worth it, rooms leak air, I was stuck during a storm, heating doesn’t work, there are loud noises you can hear through the room doors and ventilation and plumbing systems, you can hear loud noises from outside of each car that passes by due to lack of insulation, I booked out of desperation during the storm, don’t make my mistake, they make no apologies or don’t compensate you in any way for their bad rooms, their breakfast is a scam of coffee and baked goods

  Nothing too special about this hotel, really just a room to stay in during your travels to New York City. If you plan on using the subway, the nearest one is a 10-15 minute walk. Safe during the day, but at night, it can feel unsafe if you’re alone walking back to the hotel from the subway. The subway is right next to one of the largest section 8 housing that our Uber driver called “unsafe” and wouldn’t recommended walking through at night. We walked once at night and it wasn’t too bad, there was some other people out and about, but I definitely wouldn’t walk alone past midnight. The room itself was small with a king size bed, enough for me and my wife. I asked for two extra pillows twice and was only given once each time. The staff was nice and accommodating. Water pressure in shower was good and the water was hot for the two of us. I did happen to see one German cockroach in the shower but I imagine due to the cold they congregate to warmer places. Overall, if you really want to use the subway, I recommend staying in Manhattan. If you’re okay staying on the outskirts of the city and occasionally Ubering, I would stay here if looking for something cheap.

The complimentary breakfast is basic yet satisfactory, featuring coffee along with pastries and croissants. The room was consistently clean and well-maintained during my stay. Neighborhood noise levels are typical for a major urban area like New York City—of course, guests arriving from smaller cities might find it noticeable, but the area remains pleasant overall, with grocery stores and essential amenities conveniently close by. This hotel provides solid value for those seeking proximity to the city without the higher costs of central Manhattan. I would consider returning for future visits.
